A showman at heart.
Oh he’s actually with Drake… Makes sense that he’s wearing his shoes then. Drake’s prob already recruiting him to Toronto or LA tbh.

kid wants to win and is a Spurs fan. He will have the hype no matter where he goes.
He's a Spurs fan He wanted to be a Spur. He wants to be a Spur.
And now he's going to be what he wanted to be.
It's completely up to the Spurs whether he wants to stay.
I think a lot depends on how Pop goes (does he try to do him like he originally did Aldridge? Or does he let the free spirit (which Wemby brings up again and again) of Wemby reign?)
And what about Pop's replacement? Surely Wembs will have input in that decision once the time comes.
Are they building into success? Are they already successful?
Lots of factors.
Not great. Could’ve been worse though I suppose.

Clip from Wemby going on JJ Re ’s podcast. Really seems like his head is on his shoulders man, crazy mature for a 19 year old. Our new franchise player![]()
Imagine being a 19 year old kid and going to a foreign country and having to answer questions (in your second language) about a 13 year old movie and “what is your totem?” Lol wtf JJ
He missed the easy answer, that his totem is a basketball, spinning on his fingertip.
Btw it’s pretty cool to see him living it up and enjoying all of this. Regardless of how his career plays out, this is a once in a lifetime experience and he should soak up being the center of attention without the inevitable scrutiny soon coming. As soon as he gets on the court here in America, it’ll be nonstop criticism regardless of how well he plays. Even if he’s performing well, it’ll be “well he’s not as good as X when they were a rookie” and blah blah blah…and we all know what it’ll be like as soon as shows signs of struggles.
Good on the kid for putting himself out there and enjoying himself while he still “has his innocence” so to speak. Not to mention it’s smart from a marketing standpoint - making himself more likable to Americans unfamiliar with him as a person.
Getting Wemby actually scares me, not that I wouldn’t draft him. But has the day come that someone will supplant as TD as my favorite player and Spur of all time?
Quick someone find Daniel Perry, we can't let some crack addict hurt Victor before he gets home.
That baseball is soo tiny is his hands![]()
Could throw a nasty breaking ball with those oven mits. With his size, wingspan & hand size, he could’ve be the greatest pitcher ever if he’d have started young tbh![]()
So killer.
Pop is the most Spurs for Life there ever will be.
Dude gonna coach till he's Yoda shriveled.
And still imparting that wisdom.
