What party do you identify with? Or are you just anti-Dem?
Back stabbing fellow Americans. Today's Democrats.
What party do you identify with? Or are you just anti-Dem?
Who does that backstab?
Explain.
I love it. GOP defunds schools, refuses to listen to or pay teachers, and generally tries to undermine education.
Then this.
Which party ran the majority of the past "decade-long freefall"
Which party made significant changes to curriculum
They can't read or multiply but atleast now they know the basics on gay sex![]()
Which party has significantly reduced federal funding for schools for decades?
Lack of materials isn't the problem. Especially not in the Internet age.
It's how those materials are utilized. Democrats simply shifted focus. They didn't want the smartest, they want the most open-minded. Notice which cultures routinely dominate STEM programs...
What the are you even talking about?
It's obvious you don't have kids, nor friends with kids.
You don't have any friends at all, do you?
I'm sorry.
I don't have any gay kids, seems you might.
You're incredibly ignorant. This has been going on since well before the "Internet Age."
Not that I'm aware of but if I did they'd get my full support. Yours would probably kill themselves.
The GOP has been attacking textbooks for decades so there you go.
Nice phobia though.
Huh? I'm saying it's never been easier to counter lack of materials than today.
If original argument was - Republicans brought religion back in schools cutting down on the amount of time spent on math/english. Then you have a fair point.
But on the contrary your party brought in outside material (much of it invented extremely recently may I add).
Again, materials aren't the problem. They could just setup a projector and teach the kids off a YouTube channel.
Issue is time allocated for specific subjects. Liberals inserted (invented) new material and cut down on time spent for STEM specifically.
More feelings and less data/facts.
Judge strikes down Arkansas ban on gender-affirming care for transgender minors
District Judge Jay Moody issued a permanent injunction against the Arkansas law.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A federal judge struck down Arkansas’ first-in-the-nation ban on gender-affirming care for children as uncons utional Tuesday, the first ruling to overturn such a prohibition as a growing number of Republican-led states adopt similar restrictions.
U.S. District Judge Jay Moody issued a permanent injunction against the Arkansas law, which would have prohibited doctors from providing gender-affirming hormone treatment, puberty blockers or surgery to anyone under 18.
Arkansas’ law, which Moody temporarily blocked in 2021, also would have prohibited doctors from referring patients elsewhere for such care.
In his order, Moody ruled that the prohibition violated the due process and equal protection rights of transgender youth and families. He said the law also violated the First Amendment rights of medical providers by prohibiting them from referring patients elsewhere.
“Rather than protecting children or safeguarding medical ethics, the evidence showed that the prohibited medical care improves the mental health and well-being of patients and that, by prohibiting it, the state undermined the interests it claims to be advancing,” Moody wrote in his ruling.
Republican lawmakers in Arkansas enacted the ban in 2021, overriding a veto by former GOP Gov. Asa Hutchinson. Hutchinson, who left office in January, said the law went too far by cutting off treatments for children currently receiving such care.
The ruling affects only the Arkansas ban but may carry implications for the fates of similar prohibitions, or discourage attempts to enact them, in other states.

Federal judge knocks down Florida’s Medicaid ban on gender-affirming treatment
“Gender iden y is real. The record makes this clear,” U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle said.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A federal judge struck down Florida’s prohibition on Medicaid coverage for gender-affirming care, the second decision to upend restrictions put into place at the urging of Gov. Ron DeSantis.
U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle on Wednesday ruled against the ban by using some of the same conclusions and language that he used in another recent decision where he determined three Florida transgender minors could receive “puberty blockers” and other types of gender-affirming care despite a state-enacted prohibition on such treatment for those under the age of 18. In both rulings, Hinkle has stated that “gender iden y is real. The record makes this clear.”
This latest decision, however, is not just limited to those who brought a lawsuit against the state. It applies to the mammoth, multibillion-dollar safety net health care program that is paid for by a mix of state and federal tax dollars. Those who filed the initial legal challenge estimated that up to 9,000 Medicaid enrollees in Florida are transgender.
“There is no rational basis for a state to categorically ban these treatments or exclude them from the state’s Medicaid coverage,” stated Hinkle, who was first appointed to the court by former President Bill Clinton.

I don't think it should be banned nor do I think it should be widely available. There is a healthy median that Americans tend to need a long bitter tug & war to find.
I'm still liberal and firmly against this American woke spin off
Your opinion about how available medical treatment ought to be for other people is neither necessary nor reasonable. You don't get to decide, nor should you.
You were talking about weird priorities in Illinois... all these laws, weird priorities, uh?
You don't matter as to outcome.
The Texas GOP has been and will continue to try and control the curriculum through textbooks.
And you are such the edgelord with the lib bashing while refusing to take a stand of your own.
