ClutchFans will be a treat this year after some of their losses. I know we have our share of delusional fans here but really feel like they take homerism to a new level over there. Would pay good money to see that place after a game where Victor dominates Sengun.

I don’t think the rockets are that bad. Roster wise. They are a talented but stupid team so with some good coaching and a few vets to inject leadership they could be decent. The problem is if those young players will even listen.
Rockets and Thunder fans feeling anxiety right now. Rockets feel like they've got something with Cam Whitmore dropping and Amen being so hyped. Thunder fans are claiming Chet Holmgren is better than Wemby and will be dominant and will win ROY.
It's a bit of little brother syndrome.
The Spurs just need to stay their pace, not worry about anyone else at all. Acclimate Victor, build the roster. It's other teams that will have to adjust to the Spurs and what they're doing.
Rockets need to get rid of KPJ. They need to get Green to stop chucking and play within the offense. It’s hard though to judge based on last year bc I watched them a lot and they had no offensive game plan. It was like watching an AAU team. If Thompson pans out as an actual PG though then that team is pretty good. Especially if Ime gets them playing defense. But they still need pieces and an actual franchise caliber guy. We are clearly better

I agree with this, they may not have a balanced roster (mainly poor bball iq) but they have lots of talent and with some leadership and smart decision making they're positioned as well as anybody else to make the next big trade for a star and trend upwards. They had a very good draft (Cam Whitmore at 20 is just ridiculous) and hired a great coach, counting them out because at the moment they have weaknesses is foolish.

I may be alone in this but Houston is going to be a disaster. Those parts are just expensive junk and I'm totally unimpressed with Whitmore.
You're not alone. They've been training them for several years to lose, so that's what they'll do. Whitmore has medicals and statistical bust markers.

What cracks me up most is Rockets fans delusions about Sengun. He’s a nice player, but Rockets fans are under the illusion he’s about to become the best big in the game. I saw some of them ranking their young prospects by upside, and Sengun consistently ranked #1 among fans. It’s delusional.
I just hope they sign Harden to a max deal, so their cap space is ed for the next 4 years

I don't see it at all. Scoot seems like a pretty smart kid considering he graduated high school a year early and looked really happy to go to Portland while Francis was a pouting when Vancouver took him even though he wasn't going to have to pay Canadian taxes.

True. But I’m not talking about the personality but more on the athleticism band game. I think scoot is more skilled but franchise is a bit more athletic. These are just mostly based on highlights so could be totally off.
I just don’t see scoot as that generational talent and think he’s likely be a two or three time all star. Like franchise.
