He was still better then Blair
spurstalk posters what are ur favorite spurs summer league moments.......
He was still better then Blair
Yeah, but;.... I would have rather have Stephen Jackson or even, , washed up T-Mac in the game over Choo-Choo when we were leading in the fourth quarter in 6...
Pop's biggest up and one of the biggest ups in NBA history... Choo Choo literally let a guy missing a shoe drain a three on his head... and completely was an underrated part of squandering away that game... besides Pop benching Timmy on defense late, Choo Choo's atrocious performance trying to play backup PG in the 4th quarter in 6 was an abhorrence on both ends of the court.
Dejuan Blair talk about a name from the past. Gotta look up whatever happened to that guy with no ACL's if I remember correctly.
Dude's pretty much done. Last thing per his wiki:
In Summer 2019, Blair signed a contract with Italian team Carpegna Prosciutti Basket Pesaro, but his contract was voided by Pesaro after his appeal against a two year suspension for testing positive for oxymorphone-oxycodone was rejected by FIBA
Neal with it!!!!
Think he was signed to Austin right before that. Still had two functioning knees.
Yep, he had a stint with the Austin Spurs trying to make an NBA comeback, then signed overseas and apparently burned out.
That le run was so fun. Especially that come against I think Atlanta. I really miss that tournament format rather than the thing they do now to make it easier to fit on ESPN.
Is Blair still tryna Rap career thing?
I can't see Gary Neal anymore without thinking about this commercial with him and Tiago. It makes LOL everytime.
Get out of the car! Stranger danger, Run away!
Spurs started out 37-6 in 2011 with Blair manning the starting center. Could it have been a coincidence that they sank as soon as McDyess took his place in the lineup, Manu's elbow injuy notwithstanding?
I didn't follow San Antonio closely that year but it haunts that that should've been a Finals team. So many pieces with Neal and Jefferson adding extra firepower to the big 3.
I liked him more than Bryn Forbes.
The curse of Richard Jefferson.
neal with it, rock with it
everyone except pop did
