California had to -- otherwise Asians would be voting red in dictator margins which is bad for CA Dems because Asians make up 15% of the population and growing.
And Jackson is the biggest recipient of affirmative action along with Kamala Harris. Biden made it crystal clear that it must be a BLACK FEMALE that replaced a white male Democrat justice. Biden also made it crystal clear in 2020 that the VP candidate must be a woman of color. That's double the affirmative action that you could argue for either justice Thomas or justice Barrett who only met one minority demographic each (i.e. Thomas is black, Barrett is female).
