Try watching it at 4 AM as I will.
Thank you!
Try watching it at 4 AM as I will.
It sure does get late early on the east coast
Ouch. My condolences.![]()
That movie will still be there tomorrow tbh
Because it’s cheaper to go to the movies than divorce tbh
But then OP goes to the cinema and turns out the "wife" secretly had rented it out to play ESPN on the big screen for him and OP gets an IMAX showing of the Wembanyama Summer League debut like no other.

Turns out the IMAX screen was the only way to fit Victor's full frame in the picture all at once. OOP is the first human to fully glimpse the 7'4 star.
a plaque in his honor is placed as a historical marker outside the movie house.
holy T & M is going to be at NBA Finals level capacity/intensity for a Summer League game.
Entire lower bowl looks packed already, 3 hours before tip. Incredible.
Is the venue general admission? Why are people camping out beforehand aren't tickets seated?
Seems like an over reaction.
Hope the kid plays the game and gets a feel for what is next
More or less. You can buy a ticket with a reserved access section near the court for like $200. All of the other tickets are a flat $45 and there are no assigned seats. All of the tickets are also for the full day and not a single game. Today they're playing a total of 8 games and your ticket could theoretically get you into all 8. So some of the people there now are just trying to watch the game that's already going on. Or the game after that. Or the Spurs game which is after that.
Also, Summer League runs two courts at the same time with both games happening simultaneously. The bigger arena (the one in the picture) is Thomas and Mack where the UNLV basketball team plays. but you can also walk across the concourse (all inside) to Cox Pavilion for a smaller court where they'll have another game going.
good info thanks. Figured it was first come first serve.
Damn 45 bucks and just sit and scout all day over 8 games, of a value there.
If you ever go to Summer League I've always found that Cox Pavilion is the much better place to watch games. It's not a whole lot bigger than the gym you'd expect a high school team to play in. As a result you never quite know who you're going to see or happen to sit next to. I had a nice conversation going with the (then) coach of the Chicago Bulls for half the game before I realized who he was.
They keep raising the fees though. Apparently this year it's $45 PLUS a $17 "processing fee" which UNLV keeps. The face value of the ticket goes to the NBA I'm sure.
Underappreciated facet of this game: the Hornets will be looking for revenge following their previous loss. That, and Wemby potentially being distracted by the whole Spears situation, could make this game uglier than many of us hope.
damn, kinda feel bad for wemby. no way he lives up to the hype (for tonight's game), unless he drops like 50![]()
Wembust: 12 points, 4-15 shooting, 5 rebounds, a block, 2 assists, 6 fouls, multiple "overrated" chants. Not even lefty can reverse jinx this.
The Hornets are going to get on. Doubt a pro like Wemby is going to be thinking about some nothing burger during the game
lol I bet all the homeless vets are scratching them stiff necks from looking up too..
sphere is cool, too bad it'll probably will end up covered with ads
