Honestly a lot of the guys from this years draft have really struggled thus far.

I’m not too worried about Brandon Miller. He has Ball to set him up for easy baskets. Now if Ball gets injured then yeah I expect him to struggle quite a bit but he also has a sneaky good passer in Hayward on his team also

Cissoka may have ruined Miller in that first game in SacTown

Wembys over under betting line is 16.5 points. What's the play?
Under. If he has a good first half,he sits down.

Video circulating on Twitter shows Wemby was air-balling wide open 3’s during shoot-around before Friday’s game as well. Really wonder if that garbage Britney Spears drama got to him tbh. Gotta think it was in the back of his head.

Jabari Smith Jr. ballin’ again today. Dropped 33/7/2/1 last game and tonight has 23/5/4/1/1 at halftime on 63% shooting. Think the “bust” labels of him on this site may have been a little premature tbh.

He's garbage now. Brit broke him.
    Trade him for who cares.

    Do it.

Maybe, but he was air balling those same shots when he was first introduced to the Spurs - I was like WTF why would they bring the kid straight out cold and put a camera in his face and tell to start shooting the 3 ball. The hype and media would get to anyone much less a 19 year old kid, and it's been on him for awhile I just think it's going to take a few games to get all that out of his system. Not really worried I know the game will get easier for him he just needs to focus on the basics and keep it simple and he will do fine

Never called him a bust but I haven't been too high on him...was laughing at his terrible start in that first game but his past 2 halves of basketball have been pretty damn impressive.

For sure. Not saying it’s the only reason. There’s a lot of factors here obv, and I belive he’s going to be fine long-term. Was just a thought tbh. There’s another video of him walking out of the arena (I believe) after the game and fans are yelling at him to apologize to Britney

It's amazing how much experience helps in summer league. Consider this: In summer league last season with the 76ers, Julian Champagnie averaged 3.7 points in 16.7 minutes per game while shooting 22.7% from the field, 12.5% from three-point range and 50% at the line. A year later and he's summer league Larry Bird.

I think he has not had a chance to focus on basketball since he got drafted. I bet you he is really exhausted from the media since he arrived in the US.

100%. Dude’s had the most chaotic month of his life that 99.9% of the human population will never experience, on top of all the pressure he’s already facing to live up to the hype and produce early. I do believe once he settles in and gets some structure, he’ll be alright. Interested to see how he responds tonight though.

Jabari, and Tari have been really good for the Rockets. Both in the too good for summer league group.

Miller has been disappointing. Part of that is the lack of structure around him, but he was also an old freshman with sub elite athleticism who was over-drafted.

If the whole idea for Wembys summer league is to experiment and stretch the outer limits of what he can and cannot do then I’m not expecting some kind of bounce back game.

You’re more likely to fill a stat sheet of he’s being coached to stay in his lane, be patient and work mismatches.

So I’m not gonna be disappointed if this guy doesn’t blow up in this game.
