branham is 7 for 33 so far in vegas. let's hope he gets things turned around.
Branham bounce-back game. He’s dropping 25+ tonight. If he doesn’t, we cut him tbh.
Bran has agreed to cut back on all the hookers and blow in Vegas and has spent the day by the pool drinking mango smoothies and doing yoga.
He is ready to get serious tonight.
Like with a blade? That would be extreme, but .....
Wish NBATV was easier to access.
Interested to see Coulibaly if he plays. He showed interesting things so far with the Wiz as a two way player.
Love how the Celtic bench stands up for the dunk but... no.
Is this free on the NBA app or paid subscription? I’d like to see this game.
Trying to see if champ bounces back as well....Want to see barlow step up as well along with cissoko
No wemby means a dirty dom feast![]()
check back around game time
I will post the streameast live link if possible
Will be most interesting if the squad gets the well oiled team thing going again that was somewhat lost with the big guys participation
They have been on espn or espn 2 -
wait -
you mean you havent watched the other games and you were upset because I on the spurs garbage players?
Jeezus...
Again
Look at Bran's tape from the Lakers game at Sacramento Summer League a week ago. Wow.
Look at Bran's tape from the Hornets game at Vegas Summer League this weekend. Impressive.
I got two games of stellar Branham performance against one with admittedly utterly dismal performance. Sample size? And his best game this summer, 32 points, was without Victor-- so less talent surrounding to pull focus off him operating offensively and he still excelled.
Bran will be a roller coaster but he's rising and dipping in a nice forwardly motion imho.
If you stopped believing after 1-17, you better not be back on the bandwagon after 3-16![]()
Also my other take
As lukewarm as I agree Blake Wesley has been, the flashes are absolutely brilliant.
But then he'll do something insane the next play. Chucking that poor look 3 after Vic cut it to one with the open three? Getting stuffed on drives. Hitting the jets down court but zig zagging awkwardly like there's no plan. It's terrible.
Loved some of his poke aways. When he does get a red carpet to the rim those slams are confident. There was a play where he got the ball on the three point line and faked his defender into opening a lane and he took a burst untouched right to the basket. Savvy here and there but he must clean up the sloppy unbridled errors.
Sidy Cissoko turned a corner last game-
Let see if it was for real.
Branham has had a great summer league. I just don't know why people don't realize several players were super jittery coming into the last game for Vic and it completely affected their performances.
After wobbling back and forth, the last two games have cemented me as a big Wesley booster. His good stuff is really promising. He's smarter than many of us want to recognize and is improving. I don't think he's going to be a massive scorer, but will be a toolsy guy who fills up the stat sheet and is a pest on defense. Looking forward to it.
Agreed Mr Body
Last few games with Wes was when I was like okay, I can dig this.
The bad is still really bad though lol but it's Summer League. I think he's just trying outlandish stuff to get it sorted out during throw away games that don't mean anything stat wise. Might rein it in for a more polished and less risky regular season mode perhaps.
And then over the season I hope he builds up further off of everything he's gained thus far. At #25 he was always going to be a longer cure with a lower and longer developmental arc.
As frustrating as Wesley has been at times, people really need to keep in mind he’s only 20 years old and was a known “project” prospect coming into the league. No one should’ve expected him to be a legitimate NBA player in year 1, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he’s still not quite ready in year 2. If that’s the case it doesn’t mean he won’t still end up being a solid player.
If he’s not more consistent and serviceable by year 3, then sure, we can start talking about whether or not he’s worth keeping around. But it’s entirely too early to jump ship IMO.
Forgot how wet Blake Wesley's mid range was against the Lakers last week at California Classic.
He distributes pretty well too except the TO's negate the assist totals often. Still, a lot of nifty little finds, nothing crazy passing wise but learning his guys tendencies and hitting them in their sweet spots happens often with Wesley.
Agree SpursFan86
People giving up on Wes already but he's still well within his expected cook time.
