Pop is no longer involved with team USA. He did one complete four year cycle of WC and Olympics, and stepped down. Kerr is now the coach, and while I can't tell you who replaced Colangelo as executive, I know it wasn't Pop.

That may be a significant career error; he presumably had to resign his US citizenship as China does not allow dual citizenship. If relations go in the crapper over Taiwan, he could be out of luck to play in the NBA (could get real difficult to get a visa...).
