Hoping that the Bucks don't win the ring and fall considerably short, who else has a feeling Giannis would end up on the Spurs sooner than later?

That team has next year to win it before they turn into a non playoff team TBH. Giannis is great but just look at the age/injury history of that roster...

T'Would be nice, but I sincerely doubt it comes even close to happening.

If he does, he’ll probably go to one of the big market coastal teams.

Giannis seems like a lifer in Milwaukee and that roster probably has another 3-4 years of contention in it. The only core player that's old is Lopez.

Pretty sure we end up with Jrue Holiday in that situation. 2 FRPs for him and the bucks have extra ammo for their rebuild.

Giannis would have been a perfect Spur, for all the reasons I don’t think he’ll ever leave Milwaukee.

    I don't want to buy a superteam

Built not bought has always been our motto

We don't win championships by cheesing the system like the 00s Lakers or 10s Heatles. We win the good old fashioned way, through the draft, with occasional timely and unconventional free agent role player signings.

Am I the only one that doesnt think Giannis would fit well on this team? I am not saying say he is a bad player but he is older and will be declining when we are getting closer to our peak. People always chase the stars. Go for the unheard of player that comes up big. Yes this is hard but building off of superstars gives you short windows and is not guaranteed. As someone else said Built not bought.

Giannis was proud to say he won it the old fashion way and not doing the easy way out. You really think he would gonto the Spurs when we start peaking? Besides by then Giannis will be passed his prime and would soon be declining. Worst he’d betrying to get his last big paycheck. I surely don’t want the Spurs to be the one paying that. Hard pass.

Now Doncic woukd be a different story. He would be in Spurs time frame, and the position of need. But Cuban would do his best not to have that happen, despite the dumb Kyrie signing. But I’d be watching the Mavericks situation more than Bucks.

Honestly, I don't think the take in this forum is crazy. I do think think Giannis prefers to stay with the Bucks out of loyalty. The problem is that the roster is aging and if they don't win a le this year, I don't think they will challenge anytime soon. If Wemby and Vassel hit, it would be very tempting for him to come here. No sure thing, but if I were the Bucks, I'd be very nervous.

Do we still have the rights to "The Greek T-Mac"?

We could have the Greek dynamic duo. His time has finally arrived.

Well, he's 28 so according to everyone here it's all downhill from here. Do you really wanna pay 100 million for a guy when he's 33? We got the next Giannis that's what matters.

Giannis is still young to me, but his game seems highly built on athleticism. Which means when he falls off the cliff, he REALLY falls off it.

I'm a #BuiltNotBought stan for sure, but I'd sure as make an exception for Luka Doncic, just to spite Cuban a second time after winning a championship ring with Michael Finley.

To be fair Le didn't sharply decline due to age despite being built on athleticism.
