A federal judge on Saturday denied a request from former President Donald Trump’s legal team for a deadline extension over the handling of evidence in the 2020 election subversion case.
Trump’s lawyers will have to respond by Monday afternoon to the Justice Department’s proposal for a protective order.
The decision from US District Judge Tanya Chutkan caps a flurry of activity in the case after special counsel Jack Smith’s team on Friday asked Chutkan to quickly set limits on what Trump’s team can do with the evidence that will be shared with them. Their request pointed to a post by Trump on Truth Social from earlier in the day to argue that the former president has a habit of speaking publicly about the details of the various legal proceedings he’s facing.

There’s no possible way that those same craven senators, who waved their awesome responsibility away, would be against Special Counsel Jack Smith, a federal prosecutor, now bringing charges — backed up by ample evidence already — that were approved by a grand jury and are slated to be heard in a federal courtroom before a jury, as the law calls for when it comes to private citizens? That’s a rhetorical question, of course. They will obviously twist themselves into pretzels to claim that it’s this process that’s political, actually.
Wyoming’s John Barrasso, the chair of the Senate Republican Conference, said back then that his no vote on impeachment was “consistent with my duty to the Cons ution, I opposed this impeachment trial of a private citizen and former president.” After Smith’s indictment of Trump this week on charges related to the former president’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election, Barrasso said the public “are uncomfortable watching the current president weaponize the justice system against his political opponent.” So, you can’t impeach and try private citizen Trump in the House and Senate, but he can’t be tried in the federal courts either. It’s almost like these officials believe that Trump should face no consequences by any means.
FOX has never been vested in Trump. They hate him just as much as CNN they just go for the fast/persistent $ he draws. CNN soaks in the hate. They're honest in their derision for him. They loath him because he got in there and they too were a sentinel that missed and caused a monumental rupture in the line of succession.

John Eastman recently referenced the natural right of revolution against an unjust order mentioned in the Declaration of Independence as justifying present attempts to overthrow the government, including presumably his own. Democratics have turned Trump into a martyr,,,,he'll get more votes in 2024 than he did in 2020 but the liberal media will do everything they can to say he wont. He'll get 80 million votes easily. Biden is toast,,,,and why because Independents wont vote democrat this time around. It wont have anything to do with the indictments but it will have everything to do with democrats becoming groomers and going after kids with their perversion,,,,that is fact.
