He'll probably be immediately pardoned/commuted by the governor of Georgia, but lol Trump.

Meh. It is what it is. Quite a show. This is going to end up in Federal Court years from now.
Not sure what difference that will make to Trump. He'll be either in prison or politically dead by then.

Good riddance to smelly garbage, right?

Kind of iffy after all the nasty things Trump said about Kemp in 2021 and even endorsed ex-senator Purdue over him in the governor primary even though it had no shot in .

Still, Georgia is best-case-scenario for that type of possibility, could you imagine if the same thing had been charged in Arizona. We know Trump tried to do similar things with Doug Ducey and the GOP-controlled state cabinet at the time, but there wasn't a famous recorded phone call. Kate Hobbs would laugh at the idea of pardoning Trump on state charges, especially after the Kari Lake ordeal.

The GA governor doesn't have pardon powers; back in the 1930s a KKK aligned GA governor got caught selling pardons.

There's a GA commission that could pardon Trump, if convicted, but he'd have to serve 5 years of his sentence first.

Wonder if lady Lindsey Graham will be dragged into this as unindicted co-conspirator?

I would be fine with never hearing about Donald Trump again, either way.

There is a thin line between love and hate. I think the Left in America would struggle with life after Trump. Scapegoat gone would force unpleasant self-reflection.

I think you're being pretty ridiculous. Life will be better for all real Americans after he's gone.

Over/under on Trump’s weight? White House Doc reported him at 6’3” 244 in 2020, but allegedly Trump admitted in his arraignment in NYC that he is only 6’2”

So the legal analysis I have seen says so. They announced it last night.

If he died tomorrow, there will still be state legislatures banning abortion, and Supreme Court justices being bought by the mega wealthy.

He tapped into the the crazy that has always been the GOP base after they took in the racists in the 60's, and openly spoke their language. The racism and misogyny is not going to go away with him.

You want them to go away, get rid of gerrymandering and accept less power as a party overall.

If you can't/won't do that, lump it.

You guys handed the wheel to the crazy people when you ers gerrymandered the out of your districts to win more power, and they will not give it up.

No, you won’t rub anyone’s nose in because Trump isn’t getting indicted once he is out of office
