I tend to doubt Trump will be held in jail pending trial, but if AG Willis requests it, I think there's a decent chance Trump may not turn himself in for arraignment. He can't be tried in absentia, and he's well known for ignoring legal advice when he thinks it doesn't suit him.

I give it good odds he will say something stupid and get hauled into custody at some point.

Took a big hit to his popularity in the do ents case. Overall, prosecution doesn't appear to be making Trump any stronger, but neither has it knocked him out of the catbird seat for the primaries.

I can think of an example of an old man, bitter that the world has discarded his value system and passed him by, who celebrates the OKC bombing.
