Damn, I ain't got that one. SOB!!!
Damn, I ain't got that one. SOB!!!
She didn't do it for me. I can't put a finger on it, it just didn't work.
Well, the show didn't appeal me and that GD Bill Dailey was in it and I detest that man with every fiber of my being. Then he ends up on that Bob Newhart show and the mf'er was in every god damn episode but 1 over 7 seasons. It's unwatcheable now for me.
put your finger on your A-Spot, Dale, because it means you are sexual
New Ninja Turtles
6/10
fun movie. good soundtrack by Reznor. obv copying Spiderverse style to Ninja Turtles. Seth Rogen couldn't help nerfing Splinter for his own personal reasons i guess. Also april oneill: WOOF
Okay, fine, be that way, Allan...
They were selling your .
Dwight Yoakam's finest hour.
[The living room scene.]
"Sling Blade"
One-1-One line in this song zaps the strength & truth from the entire work.
Which line is it?
something more relevant to 2023 than that.
Sex and Death 101: 6.5/10
I like the plot in general, but the supernatural crap with Alpha and Beta is downright corny and ridiculous. Also, they didn't need him to have a devil's threesome to achieve the 101 body count mark.
I dance with who brung me.
The prime of CW...
"Thank you."
The heart of Jimmy Jump during take-out...
"Here, baby, here, go play the games."
& the listing above this one, they're the same.
They're film. American film.
Haha…crazy that you cite this film now, since the (older) photojournalist I was working with on my last rotation kept quoting this movie and it was maddening because I didn’t get the references. I rewatched it a couple weeks ago for the first time since the 90s.
Tbh it wasn’t a great flick but Walken was excellent, as always
Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise
7.5/10
Solid, all around continuation
And who would that be, mind if I ask?
I suppose you could say that Mexican who wrested Duncan's wife away from him and initiated the sustained events that ended with you leaving Miami without (it).
Absolutely, there ain't a bad one in the entire bunch, Ange.
It lives in me heart for so many reasons; one being the manner in which some of the episodes end with a review of the cast in freeze frame moments, under a most endearingly subdued musical passage. It brings tears to my eyes each time this litany is presented.
& he's not perfect, far from it. He's a bully, an insufferable skirt chaser, a scofflaw, his sins are boundless. He is terribly human, trying desperately to locate his way and end well. I pray & like to imagine he finds that way, and perhaps some day he'll return to [Jesse Stone] and then we'll know.
The Birdcage
9.5/10
It has the stuff. Politics, scandal, gay people, straight people.
A lol riot!
The cast is spot on!
Man up and watch it!
Just a little bit of Williams goes a long way as he got older.
Big George Foreman
It was alright. I guess I have seen true athlete movies before that moved me a bit more. It seems like it was rushed or something. The acting was fair at best. Ehhhh, it was just OK in my opinion.
5.875/10
Amazon stream is showing not free/but/renting/buying the '62 original version of -Lolita- Hasn't lost a scintilla of its quality 60+ years on.
(She)/Sue Lyon holds it all together in such a unique way of getting it past the censors and still letting us (see) it all. Her finest hour is at the last as Mason begs her to come away from it, the squalor he discovers her in. She says "no" with her voice, but her eyes are extraordinary here (how, at 14 years old could she accomplish this role/I God's) as she is looking "yes." It doesn't come though as (I believe) him finally transferring the money (before he flees to murder Quilty) ($13,000)($131,000 today) is the clincher that keeps her away from him.
This is a flawless motion picture event.
Jesse Stone: Sea Change, 7/10
not my favorite installment, but still Tom Selleck goods
-BUT-
the remaining 5 [Jesse Stone] movies aren't free with Prime. .![]()

Cocaine Bear: 6/10. Actually liked it more than I expected and the ending wasn't bad. Though they never explained how they were able to medically get the black guy to the hospital to repair his fingers. All of a sudden he was petting that girly lap dog and all his fingers were magically back without explanation.
Are they rentable? If they are, do it, don't live in regret for missing those, Ange. It ain't worth it NOT to rent them NOW while you're involved in it to this direct degree.
Rebecca Pidgeon is in this one and I simply love her since she did -The Winslow Boy- back in that circa which is a masterpiece of understated emotions. I love this film with every ounce of my being. There she plays the daughter of a British family that is challenged by the accusation that the youngest son in the family has cheated in Military School, stolen a "money order." The father wants to fight it without pause. The mother does not. The family is portending wealth but is lacking of that wealth. Enter a barrister who represents the Winslow Boy in the courts and falls instantly in love with the Pidgeon girl///her with him.
It is a flawless motion picture event.
