You never know what will happen in a trial. If Trump does happen to sever his case and his underlings get tried before him, there is the chance that the DA will mess up or one of them will be found not guilty. Not that that would necessarily have any direct bearing on Trump's trial, but it would definitely have an effect on the public perception, and possibly on potential jurors.
It's not looking too good for Trumplandia, though.If they're all found guilty, that definitely isn't good for Trump, in court or out of it.
