Nikolayev’s press office reported that the official has tasked the local authorities with connecting the serviceman's house to the central heating system and reimbursing the costs of erecting a fence.

There is growing local problems in Poland because of the enormous Ukranian influx. Typical stuff you'd imagine. Everyone is ready for the War to end but how? USA shouldn't be at the negotiating table. EU should represent before NATO.

A decent amount of these refugees are wealthier than the locals in even cities like Wroclaw or Warsaw. Definitely rising rent costs.
Polish government is also offering certain retirement plans and financial benefits that just seem quite generous in comparison to what the regular citizen has been helped with.
But overall we are very alike and could really use the added population boom.
In the scope of Polska the past 100 years. This is staggering change. Recently we were 99.something % Native. But if we rewind back to our nation's glory days we were more diverse. I think Polska has potential to continue to grow and be a major 2nd Tier EU nation. This is a convenient disaster to help spring that.

Polish politicians and the countless Churches are seeing new lifeline. Does this sway their decision when USA comes around saying you can have this but in return do this. Yes.
In history Russia has historically played lone wolf. They view us neighbors as just pawns to the West. May it be. But ultimately we are in better shape than Belarus or Lithuania.
