Ya I haven't deep read the team sites yet. Didn't see Deebo much

Now the schedule looks 3-0 heading into the Bye
yeah they should avoid running their best players into the ground too much in the first half of the season. 49ers biggest problem has been injuries over the years and they have a chance to avoid that this year.

One of the best football games wire-to-wire that I'll ever see was tonight

Just picture perfect, particularly on defense and special teams.

Except for Dak being ass per par. That defense is looking legit

I agree, he was mediocre, but he didn't throw any picks or near picks, didn't take any sacks. Given that, and the heavy rain, and the fact the tight ends couldn't catch water if they fell out of a boat, I'm willing to give Dak the pass for week 1, and everyone knows I'm far from a Dak-stan.

The Niners looked good today too but they didn't look as good as the Cowboys in my opinion, and that's not even bias. Dallas looked like the deeper and more complete team while the Niners looked more star heavy with McCaffrey, Aiyuk, Bosa, Warner. If I'm a Niners fan I'm concerned about that late first half 95 yard TD drive from Pickett, who is objectively a below average starter. Penalties hurt the Niners. And Pittsburgh isn't nearly as talented as the Giants are.

Still, Dallas/Niners are the best teams in the NFC. Head & shoulders. Detroit is good too, but they're a peg below. Don't know yet who's going to come out of the NFC South, but the Saints underwhelmed today with a very slim home win over the lowly ans.

The Eagles are a wild card team this year, they ejaculated early then were a foot out of bounds away from choking away the game to a team that won't sniff the postseason in the AFC, tbh.

IMO the Eagles are drastically overrated. They still haven't done anything to shore up their reputation under Sirianni and Hurts that is getting a big lead very early in the game that slowly but surely evaporates and they have to sweat out the ending, even against drastically inferior opponents. That sort of thing, of course, cost the Eagles the Super Bowl, and the Eagles only made the Super Bowl in the first place due to major (QB) injuries.

Sloppy win. Tannehill is pretty awful so that helped. O-Line is a concern. Definitely missed not having Kamara out there. Carr made the big pass play at the end of the game to seal the win.

imo that fumble 6 was a blown call then upholding it on replay was egregious

but yeah you got the carr experience. threw a pretty bad pick to hooker, but otherwise was pretty accurate. still looks more uncomfortable than most when the pocket isnt clean. dude would be a HOFer in flag football. his big sideline throws to thomas and shaheed were pretty af

penning has to hold up better. arden key has become decent but he's not exactly a premier pass rusher, and he was eating penning's lunch all game

getting kamara back will also go a long way

In fairness, the Saints also got screwed out of a touchdown. This was clearly in bounds with possession and the refs ruled it out of bounds, even after the challenge. Good win for your Raiders yesterday. Sean Payton is finding life in the NFL is tough without Drew Brees.

yeah hate to say it…but the 40-0 win basically means nothing to me. This team has shown time and time again they can pile it on against sh!tty teams only for Prescott to have that usual, dumb looking “dear in the headlights” look just a few weeks later when they play a good defense.

It wasn’t that long ago where they similarly forced like 8 straight turnovers and ran up the score against a sh!tty Colts team last season. The whole team was hitting the stanky leg and ooga booga’ng in Deep Ellum like they won the Super Bowl as usual only for Prescott to completely sh!t himself against the 9ers a few weeks later.

they also blew out the Commanders/Eagles in equally embarrassing fashion late in 2021 only to get bounced in the wild card
