Purging corrupt party members, even if just to keep up appearances and the legitimacy of government, is a good thing. It's sort of how normal politics is supposed to work. You take smelly garbage to the curb, especially if it's your own.
Per contra, if a political party protects corruption in its ranks, it tends to forfeit legitimacy.
Convicting the president's son and prosecuting a sitting senator from the president's own party would be robust window dressing imho.

As for Joe Biden, the problem your side has is a lack of concrete evidence tying anything to him. Handwaving and vibes won't get you there legally, you have to bring convincing evidence to court.
Politically I would say that handwaving and narrative might work, if the Republican nominee weren't the most criminally indicted nominee ever.
