I dont believe you are a Trump in the slightest.
I do believe you do not have a good sense of the history of this region and how this war ultimately impacts the US economy in the long run.
This war spills over into the more westernized EU nations and we will suffer economically. No doubt in my mind. We will be spending much, much more on military equipment than we ever have and at the same time will have trade disrupted.
This war is an invasion by a man who does not give a about the world economy including Africa. He wants to bring everything down to a corrupt strong man level of wealth that ruin nations with as many resources as Russia. Their economy is and was complete because of the way he believes countries should be run. I dont want that. I am for economic prosperity being much more equal. The US has a long way to go as well, but at least we have the ins utions available to us to make it happen. We have a chance. Ukraine was finally giving it a go and this is what they get? Nope. It hurts everyone. You just dont give Putin what he wants. Thats has been proven to be a very bad idea over the last 25 years. It led to what we are seeing now.
And I still believe Ukraine should be carefully monitored for how they behave after this is done as well. Rule of law, freedom of the press, clean elections.
