Did tread on me throw up an Israeli flag or a Hamas symbol?
Picture of Benji walking around stomping on Hamas?
Picture of Hamas killing people at a music festival?
No, I cited ya for being first for turning the Saturday Morning Massacre into a "good thing."

if/when Hamas decides Israel has gone "too far" in destroying Gaza, they will kill hostages, esp US hostages
Then here comes more sanctions on speculation by -face Biden. & he'll probably hit up Putin for 'em..."I have unimpeachable facts that Putin was one of the major ring leaders in the Saturday Morning Massacre and I am going to hit him and hit him hard with more sanctions. God Bless America."

But they'll hang onto the US hostages for a good spell of time, bouts. And CNN will provide cover for Biden during this "good spell."

Israel is about to up. Gaza is densely populated and the Hamas guys look just like the civilians. Urban warfare against determined resistance will be incredibly bloody on both sides. Israel could potentially kill tens of thousands of Palestinians trying to eliminate Hamas. We can forget the Abraham accords. The Arab world will be enraged at Israel AND the US.
Why not just turn the entire Gaza Strip into a parking lot of scorched rubble?

You will get rid of Palestinians in Gaza.
But not Hamas in the ME.

It's frankly insane that Hamas was able to conduct such a devastating operation inside Israel. Makes it pretty clear that A) Security is not and has not been a priority of the Israeli PM and 2) He has abjectly failed at the thing he preaches most about, safe-guarding the lives of his people.
To put a stronger point on it, Bibi somewhat coddled Hamas, putting his own people in danger for political advantage. Bibi sold it as strategy to his own party, that might be a harder sell to to the wider Israeli public now.

And now it's Biden's job to make a reclamation project of yahoo. That'll put yahoo in Biden's pocket forever more.

It's somewhat startling that the coalition that failed to heed advance warning of the attack gets to lead to country into war, tbh.

Si, and to all the people who are trying to compare this to 9/11... needs to really step back and examine the difference between a random terrorist cell launching an attack across the planet using civvy jets as missiles, vs a known enemy force in a known position with a known set of objectives catching you with your pants down on what basically amounts to a constant war front.

Nothing about what happened was truly that unexpected. Sure, the scope and coordination raised some eyebrows. But literally no one on this planet who follows politics of that region was shocked that Hamas launched an attack. This thread is led war #13783478343 FFS. To get caught flat-footed when you have such an incredibly high quality of known factors would be embarrassing for a nation with an underdeveloped economy and a weak military. For it to happen to one of the most advanced forces on the planet is unconscionable. It's "leaving steph curry alone on the perimeter and being shocked that he scores 60 points on 15 shots" levels of failure. Obviously a crass comparison given the consequences but I'm just shocked that this happened and Hamas pulled it off so well (unfortunately).

Nice to see you dropping into this subforum, Cry Havoc. Hope you've been well all these years.

Former IDF General Shlomo Brom weighs in.

Israel is facing an unprecedented crisis. The state that was founded to protect Jews from persecution failed miserably in protecting its citizens living near the Gaza Strip. It was completely surprised by a militarily inferior adversary. The small Israel Defence Forces (idf) contingent deployed along Israel’s border with Gaza crumbled and could not prevent the butchering of almost a thousand people, most of them civilians, and the taking as hostages of scores of other citizens by Palestinian terrorists from Hamas.

Proxy, we're never privy to this indictment of yours. It doesn't play here in the States. We just know Palestinians bad. Jews good.

    That's it & that's all.

ADDENDUM: And MSM here, in particular CNN will not use the word Palestine as a rule. They'll hammer the term Palestinians like clock work. It's subtle. I say Palestine, one thinks of kindly, of religion. I say Palestinians and one thinks of marauders and apes.
