Not sold on the viability of the Sochan @ PG experiment tbh. Rest of his game takes a hit when he has to focus on the initiator/playmaker role.
plus he's not that good at it

offensively he's at his best when he battles for position on the block and has access to that short turnaround J, or to turn and go for jump hooks, etc. and good passing out of that post position. i dont see him at a PG at all

playing him there nominally allows for some really interesting things on defense with the amount of size out there, but i dont think its worth it. obviously having wemby out there can mask a lot of problems offensively

Westley has been playing well. He's a pesky defender, and he is so much composed now. I am beginning to trust his handles and decisions more... good stuff

He's much better attacking closeouts and invading the paint from the wings. He's not an outside threat and playing PG he's often guarded by actual guards who hound him.

Zollins kind of wrecking their front line with 18-7-4.

Yeah, just going by the knowledge of Keldon's game + seeing Wemby's play so far across SL/Preseason, I think Keldon benefits the most from his arrival. He's going to get so many damn good looks from 3 and from cutting. Defensively, his shortcomings should be covered up a ton by Victor.

Sochan will prevail at PG and all this noise will go away tbh it will just take maybe 15-20 games to really settle in

See the brighter side, he's a big who can push the ball and that's what Pop is trying to accomplish out there.. stop looking at it on just one perspective..

Speaking of a big man pushing the ball, Cedi is another one with good handles.. I think he is starting to carve his minutes in the rotation.

Rockets fans were soooo convinced Jabari Smith was going to turn into their Kevin Durant this season… I don’t see nothing special so far

He was supposed to be a scintillating 3-n-D type who could develop more. I don't see much defensive menace and he purely has to be set up by other players.

They just need to not be historically horrible at guarding the 3 and they'll be ok defensively. Zollins/Wemby/Bassey should be enough to make their rim protection decent tbh.

Love the opposing fg% of 35.7 and 5/17 from range. The Rockets are really only FVV on offense with Jalen Green out and the Spurs are at least making it hard for him.

    That’s Fred-$40mil-Vanvleet to you, sir

    and Dillon -$20mil - Brooks

cant believe the Rockets are paying this much

I love the glimpses of amazing improved defense this team shows only for them to turn it over seconds later…
