this guy will be able to get cleaner looks than that from 3 every possession just with a simple pick and pop
Given the ease with which he can get above defenses, Wemby could end up averaging 30ppg in his prime. Dude is going to have so many options to get gimme buckets every single game once we figure out how to pass it to him. Combine that with 3s and his excellent FT shooting and the mind boggles at what his prime stats may be. 32/11/6 with 4 blocks and 1.5 steals per is entirely possible IMO.

his height has nothing to do with it. its just a low quality shot for him, and its not like he's a curry/klay shooter where even a sub-optimal 3 is a good shot. the only guys on our team who should be thinking about shots like that are vassell and mcdermott

I'd say that it's about being way harder to incorporate a new player, especially one as unique as Victor, into the offense when you don't have an actual point guard.
