JFC run a play to get Victor a 16 footer or something instead of giving him the ball at the three point line every time. He ain't got the handle to be isolating from there. How ing hard can it to be to run him off a screen and get him the ball at the elbow for a quick turnaround?

its not pop to give wemby more structure. they need to define parameters by which he can look for his shot. in transition? if he's holding the ball, yeah, let him get wild with the dribble. if not, rim run and have to keep emphasizing the lobs to him
in halfcourt, he needs to set better screens. pick and pop 3's, hard rolls. otherwise, some off-ball action to get him in triple threat position in midrange.

Honestly a lot of it is on him. He seems to like to camp out on the perimeter a lot (which makes it easy on the D). I know he wants to be a guard but his handle still needs a lot of work at this level to be successful as a wing player.
I did like his aggression to start the game tho.

I really would like to see Wemby play more in the paint on defense. Not because of some anachronistic "big men belong in the paint" mindset, but instead because contesting layups is far more valuable from an efficiency standpoint than contesting jumpers. A team with Wemby really shouldn't be giving up that many easy layups.
