Miles Taylor was chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security under Donald Trump. While talking on Meidas Touch’s podcast, Taylor said, “he had to draft national security memos at a first-grade reading level so Trump could understand them.”
On X, the podcast cited Taylor in their caption, who said, “This 50-page memo…is something Trump literally can’t read. The man doesn’t read.”
Taylor talked indirectly about the matter of classified do ents, “People still don’t understand the extreme sensitivity of what Trump had shared, but it didn’t stop there because after that, we became really concerned about what to share with Donald Trump and when because we had no confidence that he would protect highly classified information that we put in front of him because he had a proclivity to talk about those things.”
, he has the focus of a third grader. He was more interested on how hurricanes spin, counter clockwise, versus what he should do to help people in path of a hurricane.

The judge overseeing Donald Trump’s federal election subversion criminal case has reinstated the gag order she issued on the former president earlier this month.
US District Judge Tanya Chutkan also denied Trump’s request to issue a long-term stay of the order – which bars the former president from publicly targeting court personnel, potential witnesses or the special counsel’s team – while his appeal of it played out.
Chutkan’s ruling appeared in a brief docket entry Sunday evening. Details of her ruling were not yet available.
