That was a good article. There is even a better assessment by an independent military analyst summery on ISW.
Basically says Ukraine needs the more sophisticated air force to take to the air to have a chance.
The F 16 are VERY late.
The leadership of Russia is accountable to OTHER leadership. The Ultranationalists are still enraged by the number of Russians getting slaughtered.
Prigohzin was just one example of how the leadership is still vulnerable. But this is not necessarily good for Ukraine. Could be if enough infighting keeps up and they keep tying themselves in knots.
Imo Ukraine is absolutely capable with the right weapons in number. The Russians are sending units in WITHOUT ANY WEAPONS. z UNITS they call them. This is a sophisticated war in the air, and more like WWI on the ground until Ukraine is given the goods. In any event Russia must be stopped. And they will be. They will not get Ukraine. Unless they just nuke it.
up. So disagree with the last sentence. Russia is accountable to authoritarian FACTIONS who have public support. This is very obvious.
oh yes, The Economist is not mainstream. They actually back their assessments with solid reasoning and factual information. This is not a hater twitter feed, Thats mainstream on this board.
I do appreciate your interest DMX. We just diagree.

Much stronger than coffee.
"NEVER SURRENDER!"
You can also go back to the Tzar era. It's like a movie on a loop.
It was a stalemate before Ukr9nazis blew their load in their offensive
Now its a beatdown
Though they came real handy in II., while you were doing the wet work at 30k, they was on the ground butchering Nazi's like ringin' a bell.
Sad, even the REMF is not even safe
