Wemby has a lot of work to do. His handles are ineffective against this level of compe ion and he has no real plan or moves that he goes to. He’s doing exactly what he said when they asked him about that layup around Chet. He’s just “freestyling”. He’s young but I would have thought he would have developed at least one simple move by now. He doesn’t even use an easy jump hook. Oh and he refuses to box out! He just lets everyone box him out.

I'm in the sense that getting obliterated all the time has a huge impact on the morale and the will to stay with a team. Right now, outside of Vassel, everybody is bad. So the team needs a lot to surround Wemby with a good team.

Yes. He had a good game and people are expecting him to play like that all the time, he won't. I'll be happy if he is averaging 15 points and 8 rebounds this year on a 45% shooting. He has a lot to learn. I don't think that he'll win ROY

Yeah, I wanted to give the 'Point Guard/Forward' experiment sometime but not at the cost of these slow starts which lead to demoralizing losses.

I'd rather see Jones starting with either (or both) Keldon or Sochan off the bench, while finally giving Wesley or Graham some run. The team just looks discombobulated and become clearly discouraged.

I think that he is but there is a difference between losing by a couple of points and losing by 20. Hopefully, having Vassel back will help him
