The GOOD
- Confirmed Malaki has a pulse!
- Zach did great on both ends of the floor. Great touch and smart moves on O, stayed disciplined on D.
- Good bounce back games from Sochan and Keldon. They both took their time to make smart plays this game and it payed off.
The BAD
- Vassell had a rough night. 5/12 shooting. There were times when he was obviously the most talented player on the floor but instead of taking control he’s hiding in the corner like Bruce Bowen.
- Bassey played a great 6min and then never saw the floor again? Pop did I miss something?
The UGLY
- Victor’s worst game imo. Filled up some stats but just looked out of it, absent of passion. The SEVEN turnovers pop out but the lack of aggression (towards the paint) was the biggest frustration. He finally figured out by the 4th, but this game would’ve been an easy W if Victor ‘brought it’ the whole game.
- On that note, the entire team’s body language just looked off. I couldn’t tell if they had a mindset of playing all 4 quarters, or rather had settled into a lull of losing a game every 2 days. But overall I didn’t see ANY sort of semblance of “we are effing tired of losing.”
OVERALL a bad loss, compared to T-wolves good loss. Definitely some nice stretches, definitely lots of good learnings in real time + on tape. We did hurt without Tre. But the mood + body language is concerning. Will be interested to see how much fire they bring on the road in OKC.
