Really nice pick up by SAC with Monk and I like the Huerter acquisition too
Monk was on fire tonight and sustained the Kings.
Spurs are lucky Lyles was out tonight though lol /s no actually Lyles been pretty good for them too within reason
Kings are kinda fun to watch and bout time they get something going in Sacramento. Good group and I wish them the best.
Wemby is rushing his shot. If he would just pause for a moment and set himself he would be fine. No one is going to block his shot - so there is no need to quick shoot the way he does.
Champagnie is not an NBA rotation player. Candidate for the “Bryn Forbes” award.
Anyway, at least they competed.
Still I would’ve built on Fox and Halliburton. Sabonis could be an AS but I would argue that he’s a player that could be easily replaced by a player like a Zach Collins, but Halliburton is special. I’m sure it hurts Kings fans to see Halliburton beasting it in Indiana and still has years ahead of him.
Really. I must have missed all these supposed championship run threads. I still think the Spurs can compete for a playoff spot if they start playing smarter and more consistently.
I'm not super-worried about it, but like, somebody just bring it to his attention.
It was interesting to see Pop coaching him up a little bit, audibly on TV. He definitely needs to lean into the coaching and get a head-start on learning the post stuff.
He can't wait until he's filled out to start learning to play down low. That will help him be more efficient and keep him from being empty-stat.
You can definitely see the difference in his jumper when he rushes it.
Gotta say, of all the possible criticisms of our young superstar, it's great that being lazy or not caring aren't anywhere to be seen.
While I believe we can play significantly better than what's produced right now, I still think we're lacking firepower to get to the playoffs.
I don't know why people assume he will be a post player just because he's tall. And if the refs are going to keep allowing him to get mauled to pieces in the paint then you don't want him there anyway.
That's probably true, and certainly reasonable. But, I've yet to see this squad put together a 48 minute game. Who knows how good they can be when they do?
Lyles is a Spurs killer so might have been another embarassing loss if he played
43, 8 and 7 is about as Spurs Killer as you could ask for.
nice to have a compe ive game gain ... Wemby still too inefficient but fills the box score
Ya'll are already tough as is, and this isn't even close to the roster you'll have as soon as next season. The western conference teams better win whatever they can within the next 2-3 seasons because it's hard to believe anyone will be taking Wemby and the spurs out, 4 games out of 7. At least not consistently lol holy
no one knows yet…too early
say, vw stays healthy thruout the season?
you can make a case that there will come a part of the season where things click, spurs go on a legit win streak and suddenly they look scary…
conversely, vw - should he have health issues- it is plausible to see this team just tanking again and looking even worse
too early to conclude anything to be fair
I don’t think anybody here thinks this team can go on a win streak

We are winning the next 10
because there are scared babies here who already are ungrateful at just how bonkers lucky the franchise just got by getting the absolute best player in the world within the next couple of years…
and are already ing and moaning and crying and wetting their depends because the spurs arent suddenly the best team in the universe
boo- ing- hoo
just a couple of months ago all of us here were absolutely sky high at our insane luck in nabbing the unicorn
now
all the panty-wetters are scared and shivering that things are not all neat and wrapped up in a nice championship pre-wrapped bow-tied larry obrien!
bunch of impatient infants
i am loving this season so far
i understand that wemby is greatness personified and if he takes a few lumps on his journey- then the winning and the dominance will be so much sweeter than if it just magically clicked in his first MONTH OF HIS PROFESSIONAL NBA CAREER!
