" Deion Sanders has yet to complete his first season as Colorado's coach, but the retired NFL star has already been linked to another vacancy after Texas A&M fired coach Jimbo Fisher on Sunday...."

America’s Coach loses again
Them neon lights are dimming
Lol Colorado
Amen, GA! Let his mouth overload his ass and now has to come panhandlin' & "sorry"...let him win 2 in-a-row and it'll be right back to BIG SHOT.
Symbolism, nary substance. Nary.

Pretty good if I say so myself
Jordan Travis FSU QB devastating ankle injury 😲
Well it was a fun ride. Damn.
Bad luck for FSU
Seems like they should be able to handle scrubs that they are playing though
LullVull might be a challenge for FSU, depending on FSUs back up QB.
The 3* defensive linemen, Byron Murphy and TeVondre Sweat of UT, gave the 3* lineman of Iowa St. a punch in the mouth. 9 yards rushing for ISU.
Dont let me forget 3* lineman Barron Sorrell either for UT. Unfair matchup of 3*, go figure?
The ISU lineman that mouthed off got set on his butt.
Why ISU let that get put up for all to see and here was absolutely ridiculous.
As the game wore on UT just mauled ISU on both fronts. Even with 2 TDs called back.
asides: Ewers is still not comfortable in the pocket. Pressure him and he gets confused. The art of stepping up into or lateral steps in the pocket is an art form apparently.
Ewers still does not have it so he stays another year. Also deep balls to the right side of the field become blimps, I dont get it. Then he makes bullet 40 yard throws to the opposite sideline with ease. Then he cant lead a runner out of the backfield on a short pass. He should be able to do this every damn time. He makes the pass catcher running a nice line have to swivel his hips the other way and lose all momentum. Its frustrating to see this. Lead the damn people on these easy short passes.
The CFB QB class this year is so strong, and Ewers health and inconsistency dropped him in the draft enough where NIL is more feasible, so he stays. And he still has not played two full years. I expect when Ewers gets injured next year, Manning steps in. Manning is by far the most athletic QB on the team, its not even close. People keep thinking he has Peyton or Eli speed. He has his DADs athleticism. The ex TE who got injured and stopped playing. The eldest Manning was by far the best athlete of the 3 Manning brothers.
In the past, I too would "LOL" and mock the SEC. But now that Texas is moving to the SEC my mindset has changed slightly. So I will say that New Mexico State actually has a respectable team this year (9-3 record) and stuff like this happens. For example, Texas State beat Baylor earlier this year.
TeVondre Sweat is such a beast. Never overlook the 3*s.
Sarkisian won his 10th game in a season for the 1st time?
??
GAustex is talking about Deion Sanders.
He lacks situational awareness
Poking fun as I have claimed Sark as America's coach a number of times for being a successful alcoholic. (Just to be a weasel; and I am doing I find job it seems.)
"Ohhh the media.... Ohhh Deion...." Its fun but its really not football at the heart of it.
And its quite possible GAus is the alcoholic as I keep playing this game and he forgets.
Here comes the Rooster
In 1998 the Seminoles were poised for the BCS National Championship game when Chris Weinke was injured for the season. With 2 games remaining. The last against #4Gators whom were riding a 2-game winning streak in the Rivalry
Noles called on their 3rd QB for the season, The Rooster Outzen.
Down 6-12 at Halftime. Peter Warrick carried FSU to victory
^signature moment
Seminoles won the Rivalry game and advanced to the National Championship game
Jordan Travis. Wow. Transfer from Louisville. Willie Taggart didn't play him. He walked into Norvell's office and asked if he should change position. Coach walked him out to the FSU trophy case and told him he can be just as good.
FSU is still in position to win the ACC for the first time in 9 years and it's mostly because of Travis. Harsh ending for a projected 1st Round pick. True fans remember the ones that carried the program to the finish line. Before Winston there was Ponder.
Travis carried the Seminoles program from lows not experienced since before Bowden. He finishes his Nole career on a 17-game winning streak
Iowa St. and Matt Campbell came up with the 2 star v. 5 star bull . Like UT had a bunch of 5 stars at that time? Herman and Strong both had a few 5 star high impact offensive guys and basically weak lines on both sides of the ball.
So now that UT has two 3* DTs that basically swallowed Iowa st alive in the running game after one of Iowa St. guards went on a video diatribe about how ISU would essentially beat them up I thought it was an appropriate post. Btw Sweat probably goes late first round and Murphy 2nd to 4th. Both lines for UT are vastly improved and it has had the impact of still not playing an entire game and being able to win. (luck helps if you can keep it close). Whatever happens next this team is so much deeper than what we have had all the way back to 2009. (my father's analysis)
For the people who tried to understand the Big 12 tie break rules that look like it was written by a third grader. And then changed. And the big 12 had the Pac 12 rules sitting right in front of them as a basic outline which they finally used:
4 ways for UT to get into the big 12 championship:
1. UT beats TT
If UT loses, ANY ONE of the following 3 get UT in with two losses:
1. Oklahoma loses
2. Oklahoma St. loses
3. Kansas St. wins
Brett Y was busy working the WWE angle for the coming Big 12 and did not worry about minor stuff apparently.
And no, I refuse to chant SEC even though they are clearly more organized. I would rather be in the Big 12 AND getting the same level of recruits. But that aint happening.
UT will most likely have awesome games to view in the future as long as the SEC does not require us to play Division III level teams like they do with much of the rest of the SEC (note last weeks matchups) Good luck to UCF, BYU, Cinncinati, Houston.
Edit: I will miss the more exotic defenses and offense of the Big 12. It is fun to watch.

Big XII is going to be like a new Big East (from circa 2010). No marque football programs but lots of good basketball.
Definitely good basketball. Especially if they get Gonzaga.
Arizona also is in. Although we come to find out Arizona's athletic program is 275 million dollars in debt (I will leave it for the board to decide how many Jimbo fisher contracts that is). So Arizona will be dropping other sports as it enters the big 12 to save $.
I wonder how they determine what a power conference in football is now?
No Pac 12, etc...
