Hey old man. If you want to suck Kawhi's then retire or go coach the Clippers.

Or is it Xi telling you to do it?

Either way if you are trying to censor Spurs fans now over booing opposing players adios!

Dementia is a of a drug. Go shoot it in other people's veins and quit ruining our beloved Spurs.

In fairness, why does Wemby get the ball on the block against Westbrook and then just dribble out to the three point line and pass. Yes, Spurs players need Wemby to be involved and get him the ball, but he has to be less passive.

So he had one up. Just give him the ball again, , and point out he's got a little guy on him. It's not rocket science. It's a teachable moment but it's like no one, including Pop, noticed it so how does he learn?

Naw he dribbles out of the post a lot and it’s very annoying. He’s just not comfortable playing with his back to the basket. And no one on the team can throw an accurate lob. It’s just a mess. Wemby could average 35 points a game easily, but it’s not just about his teammates feeding him. It’s about him being passive too.

I think it's because he wants to be moving in more a downhill/motion set towards the basket and gets like lobs, just sayin'. It's what HE prefers. This isn't 2K, Wemby has his own style and it's perimeter oriented at the moment.

At this point, even laymen like myself can see that much. Why can't Pop's GOAT-worthiness do the same and force his guys to throw the man the damn ball for 25+ shots a game? Or, dare I say, inform Wemby he NEEDS to take 25 shots a game. I know, I know, "the system" and all that.

Sweet Jesus. Make a thread about Wemby if you want.

This is about Pop being the biggest cuck of a coach in the history of pro sports (any pro sport).

Is it also about President Xi since you brought him up? I mean if we're able to just invoke whomever in the world we want merely for a pejorative sake, who the are you to criticize an actual player being invoked??

Here's the truth of this matter though. You're a smooth brain that fundamentally dislikes pop for what he believes than how he coaches. You think using code words you hear in right-wing propaganda circles like Fox attached to every liberal make your point stronger, when in reality, all its done is put a figurative sign over your head that reads, Look at me, I'm a ing moron

Yeah that play drove me nuts but thankfully after the first quarter Victor stopped setting up so much behind the three point line.

Agreed. I was like WTF. Isn’t booing part of sports?!?? Leaving politics out of it, Pop has become too soft & it has rubbed off on the players imo. Need fresh blood….

I've been saying he should go for 2 years. I'm not injecting anything. Also, read better.

No Fox News here. Can't stand them.

But when Pop talks favorably about Xi and China while ting in this country and now the very Spurs fans who pay his salary for booing of all things, yeah, I'm going to call out his senile ass. The guy wipes his ass with thousand dollar wine bottles and lectures the fans who pay his salary about how to treat dear nephew after the kid single handedly destroyed the Spurs championship window.

It's time for him to hang it up.

Is anyone noticing this and pointing it out? It doesn't seem like it, that's all I'm saying. Pop should be all over that type of stuff - it's one of the most obvious/easily correctable current issues with Wemby's game.

So you're saying the Spurs would beat five of the 02 Lakers, 04 Pistons, 08 Celtics, 12 Heat, 13 Heat, 16 Warriors, and 17 Warriors if not for Pop?

I think you could argue '13 (benching Duncan on the last shot in Game 6), '15 (relying way too much on washed TP instead of going to Mills who was on fire vs LAC), '16 (refusal to go away from the Diaw/West combo that was getting demolished on the glass vs OKC). The rest not so much

Pop going small ball was the real gift to the Mavs. I was here in 2006 blasting him for it, too.

The Manu foul is what people remember but we should never have even been in that position. Avery Johnson made the exact same mistake the very next year against GS (changing the starting lineup/rotation), and his #1 seed high 60's win Mavericks were punished even worse.

I think it might be time to stop watching Wemby play and work more to working him into the offense. The only people that seem to consistently look at him are Jones and Johnson. They were doing some nice cross court screens out of a double post with him and Collins that dried up. The defense is getting better and more consistent.

It's like they are not even trying on offense beyond working on shooting because there is a whole lot of chucking.

That wasn't on Manu, that was on Pop for benching the centers.
