That 2023 class was freaking loaded.
And I apologize for posting basically the same thought twice. ADD and old age combine and it's a .
If Georgia won, it wouldn't have been an issue. This was a contingency plan in case Alabama won. I think I said this too, but if it were anyone other than UT, who beat Alabama H2H, you'd see Alabama at 3 and Georgia fall to 4 today.
That 2023 class was freaking loaded.
Finebaum pull is amazing.
He counsels southern lunatics on that call in show and then pontificates. He is extremely well spoken, which is deadly.
I just don’t get how Finebaum can counsel these lunatic calls he accepts when the “patients” don’t understand half of what he is saying. He actually ends up having a bit of fun.
I guess because he remains as calm and soothing as Nurse Ratchet.
The first time I heard this he was counseling some drunk guy over the phone line not to beat his wife because she is an Auburn fan.
The Oline on the 2022 class was a best ever haul. Sark and the Dline coach are working with Herman recruits on the D line.
Bo (Dline coach) got Coburn AND Ojomo drafted. Now Sweat and Murphy assessed at 1st round, 2nd to 3rd round respectively(Herman guys) It’s been a very long time.
This 2024 class is very good with 3 top decisions awaiting. We might start losing some top assistants. Our Oline and Dline coaches got to get paid. Bigly. The depth of talent and number of guys coached up to NFL level is Earlier Mack Brown level. And going beyond. The SEC schedule along with Michigan should hurt our chances next year. But year 2 in the SEC could be really good. It’s been a long wait and not done. Sark staying on… NFL jobs are easier, he knows this. Lots to consider. Sark gonna get his extension but even so… Sark is barely top 25 coaching salary right now.
University of Texas has entered the chat.
Yes.
All the great players from UT at the most important position on the field, QB.
It escapes me now…
He's like that sucker Hussein, who comes out during election cycles with that other ass-hat Oprah and keeps the 95% Black Block from nary fraying. The suckers.
Great players are made. Great talent is wasted. UT has signed seventeen top-10 quarterbacks since 2000. Texas has a top recruiting class seemingly every year and almost never has results to match.
Uhhh...time for your pill?
peeg granted me an opening and I ain't passin' something like that up, ever. It's my religion.
Royal did okay way back there.
Vince Young was a pretty good college QB. His best play was to drop back to pretend to pass and then Run Vince Run
Lol leaving an undefeated P5 team out and putting in Texas is re ed. There's no way around it.
ur hatred for texas has ur ire aimed at the wrong school little little brother..........fsu was left out for alabama...........
those rankings are done by camp performances not game performances............every coach pre sarkisian post mack recruited based on star rankings.........sarkisian recruited based on evaluation..........
Michigan isn’t that great this year. I think college football in general is down this season. No truly dominant teams, lots of good teams, some really good teams. Maybe the transfer portal has allowed for more parity among the P5 programs. But despite the record and another win against Ohio State, I haven’t felt like Michigan has been that great. Felt better about them last year.
Michigan’s problem for a long time stemmed from the pre BCS / CFP era lingering at ude that winning the Big Ten and beating Ohio State was all that mattered. Schembechler was notoriously bad in bowl games. That at ude along with a nearly two decade run of losing to the Buckeyes kept them from looking big picture or adjusting their approach to include competing with national powerhouses like Bama and Georgia and Clemson. So it felt like just making the college football playoffs was the actual goal, not actually competing and winning it. With how college football is evolving and that they finally feel comfortable with the Ohio State rivalry, they need to actually compete in the playoffs to put themselves back in the national conversation. They’ve been national pretenders for some 25 years.
cry more
Even Georgia has a better argument to be in than Texas. But that's fine, Bama getting in over Fla St is re ed too. This reeks of TV execs and ratings.
He was the number 1 player, not just QB in the nation. If he'd been called for his knee being down we would be talking about what a disappointment he was too.
If UT and OU weren't going to the SEC next year, I think it would have been Michigan, UDub, Alabama and Georgia. Texas would probably be surprised at how close they actually came to getting snubbed. Did I mention how much ESPN loves the SEC?![]()
FL State is gonna get a chance to show Georgia.
27-6 Georgia
Then what? They have a shiny exhibition game trophy to show for it
