You agreed with the other poster who said he has been robbed of enthusiasm as a fan. You said you've been feeling that way since 06', yet we won in 2007 and 2014.
So despite the pessimism you were feeling, the doom and gloom is not necassarily an indication of possible and or likely future success. Unless you weren't even talking about the Spurs and maybe were hinting at life in general.
Wemby's numbers don't show it, necessarily, but he did a good job of not just taking threes, but moving around and trying to get to spots to score. Even when that doesn't lead to him taking a shot, it helps open up the game for everyone. He still gets pushed out too far on the post, but that will be fixed in time as he gets stronger. Now, if he can just get some passes.
Right, do we really need him shooting 6 3-pointers? No way Pop tolerates that in a year we're the Spurs are really competing for the playoffs much less a championship.

Yupp. Perplexing seeing how bad he's shooting. Only other thing I can think is that he's telling him to shoot himself out/get himself out of the slump.
I hate to see it, but Wemby is checking out. He's so rarely rewarded for running hard, getting blocks, etc and when he does have it rolling, Pop quickly benches him.

Went all out to try and block the Naz Reid three when the game was still in reach while the other four useless idiots just stood around ball-watching under the basket and let Ant Edwards fly in untouched for the putback
