Wait, are people mad about this game? It's the most fun I've had watching them since that first Phoenix game. I don't care if they win any other games this season -- I just want them to be entertaining. I think they were that tonight, especially in the fourth quarter. There's no one in the draft that I want them to target, but I'd rather them have as many options as possible.

Not mad about this one. All I ask for is a fight and they gave that. They’re awful and none of them compliment the other well at all. It is what it is at this point. If they can just compete and bring intensity, they can finish the season 3-79 for all I care. “Good loss”

They played good for 3/4 of the 4th quarter when the lakers quit playing with a comfortable lead. The Lakers almost blew the game with coasting in the 4th quarter.
Pretty ballsy of the team to chip away a 20 point deficit and had a single possession game with a tie or go ahead chance
But it was Sochan's FAULT.

They played hard for less than one quarter. It was not entertaining until about 10 minutes to go

Pfft. Makes no sense complaining about a bunch of players who won’t be in a Spurs uniform in a year or two. The talent gap between Wemby and his teammates is becoming more obvious each game. At least the Spurs have options to improve the team. Whether they have the brains is another question.
Branham is so confounding. At times he looks poised and fantastic. Too often he is passive and lackluster. If Pop is going to force feed him, then Branham really needs some of the Parker treatment. Instead Pop is treating all the players the same: if I don't yell at Wemby I won't yell at anyone. That's what it seems like at least.
tbh, it is quite infeasible for Pop (at 74) to have the same energy to abuse Branham the way he abused Tony.
