Houthis now attacking shipping in the Red Sea with regularity.
Iran sees the opportunity as Russia is backing the disarray.

The red team claims they are worried about debt and inflation.
Just wait and see what happens if the US does not defend international shipping.
This is the main reason imo of why we have a military. We must be able to trade with the world. We are not our own economy. People just do not get this imo.
We must be able to project power for trade and economic reasons. The impact of this is much more likely to ruin our economy than actually being attacked directly in a conventional manner on our own soil (unless you count Trumpers attack on all ins utions they dont like)

Russia, Iran, NK, have refused to be a part of world wide conformity to moving goods. We pay the price. And it will be much worse economically than money sent to Ukraine.
So why does the US have to be the police of international trade? Because WE benefit the MOST from this type of trade. We cannot make everything and buy everything US exclusively and maintain our current "lifestyle". The red team can try to fool themselves all they want but this is just the truth as it exists right now. The far left needs to understand this as well.

And yes I am well aware of how unfair certain parts of the economy are very unfair to the lower socioeconomic groups. We can change this as well if the red team complies with the appropriate laws.

    When did I say that?

    Link, please.
Are you really saying that you don't believe that?

So what exactly is the plan then if Ukraine can't push Russia out by force but also should even try to negotiate with Russia?

And everyone but you already knows how reliable Putin is.
The NATO Secretary General has said repeatedly (almost like a broken record) that Western support is essentially to strengthen Ukraine's hand at the negotiating table with Russia. That's the same Russia led by Vladimir Putin.

...and the same Putin who danced with Hillary in the WH and listened to Hussein promise him a sweetheart deal after the election. But they don't need THAT Putin now. They need the Putin they got now for the MIC. He's exactly what the doctor ordered.

And it’s bull to believe he wants to negotiate. So the NATO can spout anything they want. They know this. They will play the long game as well.
Putin would rather kill Russian soldiers, and basically any Ukrainian. The absolute only way Putin negotiates is if he feels a noose around his neck. The man is old, frozen in hate and a disgusting sense of glory. (Much like an old poster that is largely ignored)

But he will kidnap the kids, transfer them to Russia, and “re-educate” them.

    Does anyone remember who invaded?
And who is the democratically elected leader is in this mess. It all matters not apparently…

Just say you lied about my saying that. Please don't make it worse for yourself.
I said you "believe" it, not that you wrote it verbatim. Everything you have written about refusing to negotiate makes me believe that you think this.

But your position is so incoherent that I'd be happy to fully retract it if you say explicitly that you don't believe Ukraine can take back Crimea by force.

I'm going ask you for a quote since you lied about what I said.
    https://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/opinions_221473.htm
"I would like to have a lasting just negotiated solution. But the only way to get there is to strengthen the Ukrainians on the battlefield, the stronger the position of Ukrainians is on the battlefield, the stronger negotiating hand will be at the negotiating table." - Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General

So you don't actually know my position after saying everything I say makes you believe what I think enough to explicitly state it for me.

That's incoherent of you. Get your together.

Thanks. Now quit lying about me.
