The private investigator hired to help him in his divorce proceedings (confirming she was cheating on him w/ her trainer) provided the information or evidence. That's another reason the Finals' loss to the Heat was so tough for Tim that year. The Spurs could have used Jackson even though he wasn't the player he once was. He clashed with Greg because he was a malcontent (like he always had been) and a hood rat, not because he wouldn't admit Ginobili was the better player. In context, years ago, Trump as president would be like saying that Elon Musk will be president one day (ignoring citizenship requirements) and Joe Biden was a laughing stock of a candidate when he ran IN HIS PRIME over the last 20+ years.
