While it is true that Wesley has shown signs of life he's also shown why he might not be long for the league.

Despite having a quickness advantage he repeatedly turns down going to the rim because he has zero touch and can't get above the rim with any traffic nearby. And then once in a blue moon when he does get all the way to the rim he finds himself stuck under the rim because he can't finish at all.

And then on the rare occasions he goes to the line, it's scoreless time because his touch is trash and he's under 50% from the line

He might try on defense, but he suffocates the offense in his own trashy way and is looks like another Brian Wrong scrub special

He's doing basic PG which I guess is a massive improvement for Blake. But I don't see anything that will translate to an NBA level player outside of his speed.

He passed up drives, plus been stuck under the rim, plus bricked free throws.

He passed out because he can't score. Sure, every once in a while there's a breakdown and in the hectic play he can dump off to an open player.
