No one says Russia's army is on par with the U.S. except maybe RT and maybe not even them.

Of course Ukraine is not winning either... Ukraine's own top military leader says this.
Keep cherry picking: a) Z says they are winning, you do not believe b) media reports that a military commander said they are not winning, you believe

    You try too hard.

I'm not the only one who believes this...

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has expressed agreement with the assessment made by the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valery Zaluzhny, regarding the current state of the war.

In an interview with The Economist, Zaluzhny stated that the conflict had "reached a stalemate," and there was a risk of transitioning to a prolonged positional war.

"He told the truth," Klitschko said, speaking to Swiss publication 20 Minuten.

"Some may not want to hear the truth [but] we can't lie to our people and partners indefinitely" he added.

Zaluzhnyi sure sounds optimistic about 2024, so you should change your mind. Keep trying.

What is your definition of "surrender"? Does that include any negotiated end to the war (or even ceasefire) that doesn't involve a total withdrawal of all Russians from Ukraine?
    negotiating with Putin.

I'll ask you again -- which negotiated agreement has Putin stuck to?

They're (negotiated settlements) are for the fools that let the gov't send their children to all the slaughters since II. ended. Use II. as the example of how to end a war with nary negotiation.

    A. turn loose Russians onto the Nazi's and eviscerate them on-the-spot.
    B. rise up to 30k and make sure, after "Again." from Truman that they'll be nary 7 O'clock wake up calls ever again by the Japs.

    Chop/chop.

    negotiating with Putin.
Negotiations are what the NATO Secretary General is aiming for. I already gave you his quote.

I'll ask you again -- which negotiated agreement has Putin stuck to?
The negotiated agreement to free Brittney Griner? You already admitted you don’t think Ukraine can take back all its territory by force. So what exactly are you proposing if negotiations are also off the table? A forever war?

Tell me -- was there a negotiated agreement after Putin took Crimea?

That's what Ukraine will do either way for their country. Might as well give them the means.

So you are proposing a "forever war"? One that we should finance with no plan for an end.

You have no credibility. You should just stop posting.

He didn't say anything about winning the war in 2024 or really even making the kind of "breakthrough" gains we expected last year.

He's confident things will be better than last year when the lost net ground. I take him at his word on that. It's a low bar to clear.

    Sorry, thanks.

We did that in Afghanistan in the 80s. It ended the entire Russian system of government. This is a more favorable situation than Afghanistan.

Dan posts as matter of course. It makes his easier to spot across accounts. You have pointed out the argument he ignores and he just ignores the responses and doesn't even quote them.

He does little more than being 'subtly' annoying. He gets on different accounts when you really piss him off..

Oh, so you're moving the goal posts. You originally just asked "which negotiated agreement has Putin stuck to?" Well, Russia and Ukraine still negotiate POW swap agreements and keep to them.

We did that in Afghanistan in the 80s. It ended the entire Russian system of government. This is a more favorable situation than Afghanistan.
It was more than Afghanistan that ended the Russian system of government. Arming Bin Laden and company there cost a pittance compared to what you're talking about in Ukraine because it's a war of a totally different scope, scale and nature. We're also financing their government in addition to the arms.
