and even if we take your word that its just for show, wemby was #8 in voting about frontcourt players in the west, behind Davis, Leonard, Sengun, and George. so even by that criterion, he's not getting in. but i just dont see a world where he gets in over sabonis

I didn’t say no one wants to see Wemby, he just has too much compe ion. So many other deserving players that are actually on winning teams right now. I don’t hate Wemby but it’s not rocket science, tbh. The tnt crew didn’t even pick him in their reserves because of how stacked the west is.
He would have had a solid chance if he was out east fighting for spots that are going to go to fake stars like Randle.
We're also starting to get bumped from NT games. It cuts both ways.
I think Wemby has a shot to be an injury replacement, we'll see.
As I said in the Wemby Allstar thread, I wouldn't be surprised if he got in as an injury replacement for the simple fact that Silver chooses them and the league certainly would benefit more from Vic being an All Star than from players like Sengun, Sabonis etc..
