i like that game but those thunderjaw encounters on very hard are so ing tedious
Lost two games we played seems like Pop cares more about letting Victor handle the ball and run the offense on the perimeter than winning the game. We easily beat Washington if we just let Tre run the show more and Vic worked at the top of the 3 point line a ton tonight.
I didn't believe any of the tanking talk earlier in this year, but these last two games winning definitely has not been the priority.

Glad I had to hit legday than watch that lol
Whatever but Wemby sucked today. Everyone's allowed these games where they generally suck and aren't helpful in winning. Seems to me like Pop felt forced to bring Wemby back in but really a Barlow type was what was necessary today.
The Vassell and Wemby pick and roll is something pop is working on, if you didn't notice.
I’m playing on very hard as well and yes i agree![]()
It's not a good play 30 feet out. Victor ain't setting screens for Curry or Lillard and it puts Victor in a useless position when he retreats to the three point line after it.
Man why do you crank the difficulty on everything you play? Games like God of War that scale well to higher difficulties are few and far between.
Pop likes to show Victor he's not a guard. I've heard Pop say more than once that he wants Victor to learn what he can do, and to not fall in love with the 3. Victor seems to like being a guard though. So did Tim, but he wasn't too serious about it.
Honestly i think horizon is fine on very hard. I’m not touching ultra hard. I’d entertain that on an NG+ run not that I’d be doing that anytime this decade lol
i think it generally scales well. Makes you really have to emphasize shot placement, targeting components, shooting canisters, applying acid to the thicc guys to remove armor, etc as opposed to just shooting regular hunter arrows at center mass and being rewarded for it
i generally play one level below the max difficulty on games. Unless it’s just an “easy-normal-hard” thing. Even in god of war my first play thru has been give me a challenge (renamed no mercy in ragnarok) before doing a gmgow run (followed by obligatory gmgow+)
think i also played highest difficulty on spiderman games but those aren’t hard at all
cant remember which one but one of the Batman Arkham games on hard removed the little spider sense thing in Batman to tell you when you had to dodge. Now that was a
Forbidden West is pretty great. Playing the Valhalla DLC on God of War right now, not sure how I feel about it yet tbh.
I thought we were done with the third quarter meltdowns.
Guess not.
Also this team is dumb AF and needs talent at so many areas/positions.
Outside of a no-brainer trade with Atlanta and lucking into the best prospect since LeBron, BWrong has not shown any evidence that he's capable of building a competent team around Wemby when he starts getting ready to contend. They absolutely need to nail this upcoming draft pick tbh.
Jonathan Isaac is one of the best defenders in the NBA overall and he’s locked down lots of stars when he’s on them. Victor struggled when he was ok him and the Magic were just matching Isaacs minutes to him. UFA next year. Should be a target for the Spurs. Would make the team top 5 defense
You’re right, I don’t know his sexual orientation. It was wrong of me to assume Sochan prefers the company of women.
-SPURt “he/him”
Pop still doesn't understand the rule change around perimeter defense.
Dude still thinks he needs to guard the paint and not the three point line.
Great run by the gang at the end of the game, but then Wemby subbed back in and the energy was gone. His turnovers are annoying, but he is intelligent and will clean this all up. The future is bright![]()
Victor definitely doesnt protect the ball like he should. Its infectious as in his teammates seem to follow his example of playing like its the harlem globetrotters out there.
Get the ball in the right hands before getting cute.
It's like, let's just fast forward to off season. Just enjoy the journey. It'll be worth it.
Isaac is a republican so pop would never
I had to get in day as well glad I didn’t miss anything.
Dude missed 2/3 of his games for the past 6 and a half seasons he's been in the league. I don't care how good he is when he plays when he's twice as likely not to play.
I agree. But right now Pop doesn't seem to care. So expect him to keep getting the ball at the top of the 3 point line, expect him to keep trying to "run" the offense, and expect it to be ugly because most 20 year olds aren't very good at repeatedly running nba offensive sets.
They don't start making the right moves here soon the journey won't be very far.
We've seen what happens to teams that get a real franchise player but don't properly build around them. The Spurs won't be immune to that.
I agree we are winning too much to secure top 3 draft odds.
