That's where a vet would be precious for this team. Put everyoe in thieir place and tell the others how it's supposed to work in the NBA. "Know your place! Wemby is the guy and you''re his role payers. You're not the star."

Wemby can't do that at 20 in his first year and Pop isn't doing it. These guys won't be here or actual roile players in 2-3 years, no need to let them feel they're gonna be all stars and mess up wit Wemby potential ROTY first season... Vic HATES losing to his bones. Don't push that too far with him.

It sound stupid that the guy on pace to be 3rd in usage for the season and 1st among rookies in NBA history has selfish teammates.

What's the point of this stupid minutes restriction? Wemby was never injured and he isn't injured now... Secondly he is supposed to be this generational talent, and he shot 13 shots? Come on now... That's how we are developing him? By treating him like a 3rd option?
We’re in a back to back, and we know he can be gased quite quickly. So taking him out in makes sense.

Wemby looks spent by the end of his allotted play time as it is. I’m assuming he’s hit the rookie wall because he looks tired at times.

Sean said that he would go out for shoot around in Feb. of his rookie year, and his legs would be shaking before doing anything. He was 21, and was a 3 year NCAA vet. Imagine a French kid who played about a game a week last year, occasionally two.

That’s why I think minutes restriction was actually a brilliant idea.

I actually think, considering the professional preparation Wemby has received, that it likely isn't that bad of a problem as y'all might think.

That's part of it. The main reason he is so gassed is cause almost anytime he is on the floor and doesn't get the rebound he SPRINTS the length of the court to MAYBE get a pass. I've seen Wemby sprint the court more this season than I saw Timmy sprint his entire nba career. It's remarkable he can play as much as he does while doing all that sprinting. This is a by product of his trash ass teammates unable to pass him the ball and his trash ass coach unable to draw up a real offense. If he just cut his sprinting the length of the court in half he could probably play another 4 or 5 minutes.

Hilariously enough you look at the two best bigs in the game...Jokic and Embiid...you will hardly EVER see these dudes sprinting the length of the court for any reason. Because they play in real nba offenses centered around them so they don't ever get into a rush to "take advantage of a mismatch" or "get good post position" or whatever other bull Pop is always talking about.

What’s the point if the coach is satisfied with what those players are (not) doing??

as mind boggling it is for anyone watching, they seem to have the Green light to ignore Victor …

That’s why stats are dangerous and don’t tell the full story…

tale away all the minutes he has the ball but has to do it all by himself, take away the passes that don’t lead to scoring but just playmaking for his teammates etc

The eye test show that he he rarely not only served but even looked for …

ZERO passes to him at least the last 2 4th quarters is unjustifiable

Are you watching the games? Because for the last week or two, he’s jogging up and down the court, not running.

No 19 yr old should look as tired as Wemby.

I think he might have some lung issues, maybe covid related. Seen others with the same thing.

    This.

This team plays like its a constant scrimmage. Just running up and down the court all the time. Don't care if they score or the other team scores...gotta get the run in.

It's like watching High schoolers who don't know how to play half court offense just running and gunning. They simply don't know anything else.

Slow...the...F...down. Learn how to play basketball.
