of course. wemby and chet would easily be able to coexist, and you could also stagger them so while they share some time together, you ensure one on the floor at all times
If for some reason OKC had the #1 pick last season, they would never have passed on Wemby because they already had Chet.

The announcers (with Shaq) saying during the OKC game that Victor has separated himself from Chet for ROTY![]()
bra shaq still doesnt think wemby has separated from bol bol
I don't think there's a race anymore.
Chet with 13 pts 9 rebs 5 blks tonight
Manufactured tbh. Anyone with a ing pair of eyes and a brain can see that Wemby has been ROY and should be DPOY.
Otherwise known as about 15 minutes work for Wemby.
I think there still are a number of pundits who are of the opinion that it's a close race. And they're the ones voting for this .
However one thing to note is that Chet's scoring numbers have plummeted and it's now a very close race between him & Brandon Miller.
Chet 16.7 points per game vs Miller 16.4 points per game.
On his current form Miller will probably pass Chet as the second best rookie scorer, which would indirectly be a very positive thing for Victor because optics are everything. Somehow Miller might just have become Victor's best ally on his road to get ROTY.
I haven't heard the same dull chorus for Chet being ROTY for a while now.
Wemby's quite the betting favorite to win it, at -500.
It's a foregone conclusion provided Wemby stays healthy.
I'm more intrigued by his chances at DPOY, though not getting my hopes up considering how terrible the rest of the team has been.
Pundits who actually have votes like Richard Jefferson or JJ Red still think Chet is ahead or it's a tight race...
I think what's most damaging is that PATFO don't seem to give a .
ing dude is putting up historic numbers on a team that ing sucked at getting him the ball in opportune moments for the first few months, and with pointless minute restrictions. Wemby is starting to hit his 3s at a decent clip lately too.
No offense to gots, but are there two bigger ones than them? them.
SGA's run for MVP too, as he's starting to take all the spotlights and people recognize it's easier for Chet playing with a superstar, and that SGA is the main main reason OKC is on top.
not to also mention how well Santa Clara Jalen Williams has balled all season as well. Dude is probably OKC second best player overall and folks try and sleep on him. The game last night versus Orlando definitely helped a lot of fair weather voters see just how good he is in prime time
thats because they dug their heels in by mid-december and now dont want to say they were wrong to
last time the question was posed to them (in mid January), the likes of Stephen A and Michael Wilbon were leaning Chet. Brian Windhorst, as of this morning, had Wemby as his ROTY but said it was still to be determined. i mention these because they all actully have votes. this is still a close race, not because it should be, but because there are too many voters out there who are obsessed with OKC's record vs. the Spurs record.
Victor now at -600 odds to win it. Can’t believe I was able to get in when it was like +120 or something in December![]()
we are gonna learn that all these people that prop up Chet made bets on Wemby during that stretch.
It's just to keep the drama high.
Who likes to watch the end of a blowout?
They need eyeballs and clicks and this is how it gets done.
just nice the spurs are being talked about lol
The 5x5 last night definitely helped his case.
