Did Wemby play full fourth quarters the last two games?
Anyway, great game to watch because despite another turnover festival you can still say that everybody played good to great ...
Victor had tears of his own. He really wanted this W and he willed the team to it.

39 asissts and 11 turnovers is not a turnover festival tbh. The execution was top notch, aside from the last 2 minutes in the 3rd quarter.
thanks for keeping my head straight there ... it just felt worse than 11 TOs probably OKC scored on all of them?!
doing great man, still lurking around here and posting once in a while. Hope you you also are doing well
it's because our turnovers are always easy baskets for the opposition

I love that GSG by Wemby. He missed the city. The kid love being a Spur and can’t wait to get the team back to winning.
Shaq said that the Spurs will be busy this off-season loading up talent. Barkeley thinks the Spurs will still miss the playoffs next season, 3 years he said, with Shaq disagreeing. The Spurs played great tonight, and I agree with Shaq. The Spurs will be a lot busy this Summer. Wemby can’t wait to win, and FO needs to satisfy this kids thirst for win. Barkeley said the Spurs are not close to winning. I don’t agree. I think the Spurs will make a big turnaround next season. Wemby cannot go through another losing record. I didn’t think Wemby will be this good by this time. I think nobody did. He is much stronger and taking on big challenges. His for ude is well beyond years. And the FO sees and will acknowledge that. I think they will get a premiere PG, possibly Trae, and 1 or 2 more veterans by the end of the deadline. I think they’ll get a defensive wing, and a big veteran, whatever. But it would be a totally different team next season. It’s just wrong if they don’t. And I don’t think it would be very hard to convince players to play with Wemby. As great as DRob and Timmy, they were not this exciting. Sure DRob was an athletic freak that nobody saw a big man moved like a gazelle before. Sure Timmy was awesome as a rookie. But the hype that Victor is, is not comparable. Nobody thought DRob and Timmy would be the next MJ. But they say so with Wemby and at age 20! Prepare that new arena, because players will be knocking on that door. Already Trae has given a hint how he would love to pass the ball to Wemby. There would be more.
Man, Wemby really, REALLY loves the Spurs and SA. As much as DRob and the big three embraced the city, I don’t think they’ve shown it as passionately in public as Wemby has. Then again, maybe he’s just really THAT passionate to the point of being emotional. As much as I love Timmy due to him being my favorite player, Wemby’s getting right up there real fast.

I guess can't really hear it on the broadcast but the crowd was chanting Wemby's name after those couple of late threes in the fourth.
Nah we'll be rooting against him for years man because that Thunder team is going to be a to get through in the west for a long time.
Same thing was said about Memphis. Y’all really forget things change in the NBA quickly. There’s only been one or two teams that ever stayed consistent with its same core and with same winning results and that was the Spurs of old and the Warriors. These young teams who shine for one year and then become irrelevant after a year or two because happens is way more common than them continue their upward trajectory.
Minn is winning with two seven footers and Sarr and Wemby have more upside with more agility and quickness than Gobert and K-Anthony Towns.
I did. Dude was being hailed as the best generational talent since Lebron. I knew he would be good defensively seeing as he's built like Ralph Sampson. And the dude would be great on offense just on his ability and size and length. Nobody on the Spurs knew apparently, but I wanted us to get Dame in the offseason simply bc I believed in Wemby.
The Spurs better make moves this season. We won't have him for cheap for very long and can't waste his cheap rookie contracts with middling players eating up our cap at 20-27 million a year. That is a stupid way to go imo. The playoffs are for grown men and we need to go out and get one.
K-Towns is the greatest shooting big of all time though, he is not really a big man on offense because he can shoot the out of the ball. There is a good chance that Sarr and Wemby would just clog up your spacing and provide you with little defense in space. That is if Sarr hits and I just don't trust bigs with bad hands.
That block on Chet right after wembys 3 though. This is going to be a fun rivalry to watch for years to come.
yeah they got a lot of lay ups on fast breaks, but OKC has the 3rd best offense in the league with 121.2 PPG. We actually held them under their average.
you ever heard of Dirk Nowitzki?
Just by the numbers KAT shoots better from 3 on more volume compared to Dirk
dirk shot better from 10-16 and 16-3pt though
I would say it is Towns. Dirk shoots like 2 threes a game in his MVP year, that is against PF who are uncomfortable out on the perimeter.
I actually like SGA, JDub, Chet and Presti.
But man, I just collectively ing hate OKC
I think it's the re ed ass fanbase tbh.
The Thunder fanbase is the worst in the NBA tied with the Celtics. Just no knowledge of the game, but demanding everyone pay homage and fealty to them constantly. Neediness combined with arrogance and ignorance.
SGA is great, but is given 10 free throws a game for no apparent reason. Today's NBA.
Jalen Williams looks like a basketball-playing dumpling.
Holmgren looks like he's going to kill his old high school friends with an axe.
yeah, okay![]()
