I can't really imagine coming onto SpursTalk to take on Timvp's edgelord personality. That guy was a toxic Trump fan before there were even Trump fans. Proud Boy type.

Ummmmmmm.... because we are TRYING to lose in case you hadn't noticed. It's called a tank. We want the best pick possible to get the PG of our future or to pick some other position where we think we can solidify. It is not rocket science to figure this out.

    Get with the program.
Reason why they're 9-15 since after ASG (11-47 before) and won 5 of the last 8. Master plan for possibly one of the worst draft in recent memory, with 3rd stringer Mamu freaking Mamukalashvili (who will probably be out this summer) as an essential part of the tank.

    Hmmmm, obvious.

i had been pretty low on mamu. not because i thought he lacked skill, but just because his impact never seemed to be there and his defense had hurt us more than his offense had helped. but he's looked much better recently and his chemistry with wemby is pretty undeniable.

in what was basically a lost/developmental season, seems really silly that he got as little run as he did, behind even a guy like osman

I think it’s rather obvious with the way he allows shameless racism, misogyny, and phobia rampant on this site. It’s a form of enablement and frankly, I believe that when you allow something like that, you believe in it. It’s sad but this is the world we live in. It doesn’t trigger me the way it does Mr. Body anymore. What Body doesn’t realize is that he’s in here with us and all the screaming by him does nothing but affect his mental health. He’s cared about this so much that I think his mind has deteriorated to the point he can’t get out of this cycle where he’ll go for weeks just being OK and then relapse into this unhinged state.

You don’t need to read all of it to realize what a cesspool this place has become. A quick scan of the top 5-10 threads at the top on any given day will tell the tale.

Some have made that assertion. I just think they let the board turn into a hole.

There is far less racist here than there was in 2006-2008 imo. There are a few troll posters that like to push peoples buttons but acting like they are the predominant group on this board is false.

I also find it comical how certain posters love to on what a cesspool ST is yet they are constantly here posting themselves as if they aren't part of ST. This board has never been heavily moderated which is part of its charm. Posting a stupid opinion will get you called out for being a dip unlike RealGM which gives strikes/bans for the most mundane stuff.

ST ain't perfect but it ain't a MAGA sanctuary. Those freaks mostly stay in the political forum. Theres also an ignore feature for those who haven't realized it

The only thing I don't like about the ignore feature is that quotes from ignored posters still show if an un-ignored poster responds. I wish there was a way to hide even the quotes from ignored posters.

Imagine if Mamu had started next to Wemby over Zollins. he even fits better with Wemby than sochan does.

I like Mamu, but his defense is pretty bad. We need to improve defense and shooting, and despite tonight,he isn’t a good shooter, either.

We’re keeping Mamu, right? Maybe even pairing him with Wemby more often? They have great chemistry (in relatively little actual game time together), Mamu can hit threes, rebound, hustle, has good vision and ball handling for a big, seems to be in the right place at the right time, etc.?

Wemby just said he was ‘eager to play with him all season’ and he wanted Mamu’s jersey.

I like Mamu, but tonight was an outlier. He’s not even a good shooter, 24.5% from 3 on the season before tonight’s game.

We need to keep him to get Wemby get used to playing with a player like him until we get a better version that plays defense. His archetype is the type we need at power forward. Not a big like Sarr who’s meant to roam the paint all game long on offense.

I wouldn’t hate Kyle Anderson, part II. He does a lot of the same point forward stuff, and is a stout defender.

Yeah - he’s a career 31% shooter from three. Wish we still had Chip to bump that up a little. If he practices the 3 a lot this offseason, he could have a decent career.

Meh. Kyle’s another placeholder type that we don’t need if we have Mamu already. Any player that’s been relegated to the bench on another team shouldn’t be an option for the Spurs. Bench players who haven’t had a chance to be a starter on the other hand are decent options. Kyle was a starter for the Wolves and then pushed to the bench. We don’t need other team’s trash like that. Just my opinion.

Saw this. Iconic quote. If another more famous NBA player said it, it would be in the history books.

Most of us have said Mamu and Graham should've been playing all season tbh.
