Officiating will change. There was a lot of contact not called, like the Wolves series with Denver where they won the 1st two games, but it turned around and suddenly the momentum can shift if the defense isn't allowed to be as aggressive.
The Mavs style is not looking like a favorable matchup as of the first game. Boston doesn't even have to work on defense...not cutting to the basket or consistent motion. the Mavs really need a Reggie Miller or RIP Hamilton guy flying around on offense running off screen after screen, wearing out Boston defenders. Luka, as good as he is, brining the ball methodically down the court does not put the necessary pressure on Boston's defense.
I still think it is too early to overreact after just one game, but there has to be more motion in the Mav's offense. Outside of Washington, nobody really moves.

It's not the fault of the officials but only an idiot would claim the game isn't called differently from game to game. We saw it in Denver and we'll see it here. When that happens teams have to adjust. Like it or not officiating is a thing.
