Russia: Gazprom will need at least a decade to recover the gas sales volumes lost due to sanctions

The Russian energy company Gazprom It is unlikely that it will be able to recover the natural gas sales volumes lost following the invasion of Ukraine within a decade. This was reported in a report commissioned by Gazprom itself and taken up by the British newspaper "Financial Times". The company's exports to Europe will average between 50 and 75 billion cubic meters per year by 2035, just a third of pre-war levels, according to estimates from the Russian energy giant. Although Gazprom hopes that building a new gas pipeline to China – Power of Siberia-2 – will help offset lost European export volumes, its capacity will be only 50 billion cubic meters per year and prices fixed with Beijing they are much lower than those with European countries, as the company's experts note in the report. An agreement on the construction of the connecting infrastructure with China, which should pass through Mongolia, has yet to be reached, Gazprom adds.

Ukraine Hits Largest Petroleum Plant in Russia's South and Oil Depot in Belgorod Region

Kyiv Post sources in Ukraine’s special services confirmed that in the early morning of Thursday, June 6, Ukrainian drones targeted the Novoshakhtinsky petroleum plant in the Rostov region and an oil depot in the Starooskolsky city district of the Belgorod region.

According to the head of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev, more than 120 rescuers and at least 15 pieces of equipment, including a fire train, were deployed to extinguish the blaze following the strike on the Novoshakhtinsky plant.

The Novoshakhtinsky petroleum plant is the largest supplier of petroleum products in the south of Russia and the only oil refinery in the Rostov region. In April, the refinery in Novoshakhtinsk was also attacked by UAVs.

'Exodus' of Russian Ships From Black Sea Fleet's Reserve Base Sparks Rumors

    ...

Western intelligence has evaluated that Russia has restricted its activity in the northwestern Black Sea, where Ukraine can more easily threaten its fleet. Kyiv's targeting of Sevastopol has made Novorossiysk a "crucial" port for harboring the Black Sea Fleet's "most valuable assets," the British Defense Ministry said earlier this year.

"Essentially, we have confined the Russian fleet to the Novorossiysk bay," Vasyl Maliuk, the head of Ukraine's SBU security service, said in late May. Reports have also suggested the Kremlin is planning a new military base at the port of Ochamchire in Abkhazia, a breakaway region of Georgia. This would put Russian assets even further from Ukraine's coastline.

[[[The ICC has already issued an arrest warrant for Putin and Russia’s children’s commissioner, Maria Lvova-Belova, over an alleged scheme to deport Ukrainian children to Russia. The Kremlin has denied the allegations and called the ICC’s actions “outrageous.”
Sosonska said she believes that, just like the child deportations, sexual violence is part of what she called “Russia’s genocidal campaign” against Ukraine.]]]

    [[[It is happening now’

Oleksii Sivak knew the Russians were coming for him after his neighbor Shapovalenko, the farm manager, was taken.
The 39-year-old sailor from Kherson had helped him put up Ukrainian flags around their neighborhood on Ukrainian Independence Day.
Both men were civilian volunteers. Shapovalenko had been distributing supplies, helping people evacuate and sharing information about the location of Russian troops with Ukrainian military acquaintances, while Sivak ran a soup kitchen, organizing assistance, distributing leaflets and putting up posters and flags.
“We already knew about these torture rooms; we knew that people do not return from there. I went to deliver soup, warned the people I was helping, cut off all contacts and came home to wait for them,” he said. Hiding or trying to go on the run was not an option, he added, saying he was aware Russian forces were targeting the relatives of people they were interested in.
He said eight men came to arrest him – four in military uniforms and four wearing civilian clothes, all with their faces covered. They took him to a local police station and then handed him over to what they said was the FSB.
He recalled being beaten and tortured with an electric current from the same kind of field telephone described as being used in other detention facilities. “They called it ‘the lie detector’ and they were obviously having fun when spinning the dynamo, asking me ‘do you want to call Zelensky?’” he told CNN in an interview in Kyiv.
“First, they put the clamps on my ears and while they were shocking me, they were also beating me with a stick, kicking me, and hitting me with their hands … then they moved these wires from my ears to my genitals. They said, ‘we’re going to sterilize you now’ and things like that, while they were electrocuting my genitals.” Sivak believes he has a pretty good idea why the Russian troops chose to torture him in the way they did and threatened him with rape.]]]

    Defending your country is laughable!
    It's Russia's dirt, 0.

Putin has 20% of it back.

Think of it like this...say Mexico flushes 17 million of their citizens into the U.S...bad example, can never happen. Think of it like this...what's his face up North...takes over Montana, both Dakota's and for good measure Minnesota, claiming it all belonged to Canada since olden days. Bide...I mean Obama wouldn't stand for that,,,he'd make Biden do exactly as he, Hussein told him to do to get it back..."Please give our land back to us. We'll pay all the healthcare for your people, full ride and we'll lump you MIC in with our MIC and we'll pay for the whole kit and caboodle, deal?"

“They have gone mad, especially the Europeans,” he told Putin. “It’s how animals behave. If there is a herd of hyenas or wild dogs and you’ve got a stick, you can keep them at bay. But there’s a high chance that they will tear your clothes, and if you get tired they will bite you to death. If you can kill a couple of them then they will disperse.

The irony is Russia took Crimea mainly for the good naval base assets it would create.
So then the Russians attack Ukraine, the Ukraine pummels the Naval bases, so the Russians move their fleet away from Crimea to try and keep their fleet intact!?

Some of those Russian ships in Crimea have also gone on "maneuvers" in Cuba just to get them away from the Ukrainian little boat drones that have learned how to bust through the barriers Russia has put up.
Apparently Ukraine as a very large number of these marine drones as they have not only bombed Sevastapol, but also are becoming more successful in blowing them up via the water. They are running out of targets.

Anyways, wonderful planning. Build all these naval facilities and then flee the facilities.
Those sunken ships playing submarine on the ocean floor could produce some good habitat for fish and such.
