Bruh, Marc Gasol was a deep second rounder at that point. Don't give me crap about 'everyone knew he was going to be great.' That's ing bull and you know it. He was a throw-in.
I never said anything like that, but we are looking backwards n time at the trade.

The Lakers are such a poverty franchise now. It was the Clippers that made the announcement of his death, because he had zero relationship with the Lakers. None. They kicked his ass to the curb in favor of Phil. Makes me smile that Hurley said Nope.

Though ultimately Phil Jackson was right in that debate, where West was livid that Jackson didn't like Glen Rice and didn't want him back. West is the greatest GM in league history but even the greats can screw up and dying on the hill of Glen Rice was definitely a huge mistake from West after we saw he wasn't the player he looked like in Charlotte where he was constantly fed the ball.

You kinda forget they won a le in 2020. They've been an abysmal franchise post 2010 and got bailed out by LeBron wanting to play for them. Now the LeBron era is faded out.
