Simple. Provides compe ion to the dollar in a similar way a small local Mexican meat market provides compe ion to HEB and Walmart. Provides an alternate method of wealth building as countries beyond El Salvador start to slowly but surely accept crypto as legal currency. And provides an outlet of tradable assets in case of a worst case 'armaggedon' scenario like your blue no matter who crew said in 2016 would happen under Trump and didn't and continue to spew the same tired old crap about in 2024.

In all honesty my biggest hope at the moment is Biden drops out and is replaced with someone more viable that can wash clean the nastiness of Biden/Warren and be rational about crypto at least (at a minimum realize how foolish and authoritarian they have been even if they dont support it) and that’s enough to turn the tides. Funny thing is this is the exact same cry baby emotional behavior we got from Hillary fans who gaslit Bernie supporters and said “suck it up Bernie bros” (funny how that catchphrase keeps popping up despite wildly different people). And it worked on me despite being pissed at how my own party railroaded its own candidate despite Bernies very popular support (shocker that Warren was as the center of that issue as well). Thats just part of it. I want the younger, Bernie faction to gain more prominence and sort erase the nasty Hillary/Biden/Warren views from the party and the baggage that now accompanies it. Crypto is a part of it for me, but I want to see just more common sense, less warmongering and partnering with big banks and getting back to real leftist ideals but with some damn common sense and business a en applied for the good of the country.
