castle would of been great with furphy.I just dont understand what are we doing.
Spurs draft another point guard that can't shoot.

i don't even know if half of this forum even has a job.
Spurs are the third worst team in the NBA using this draft like a le contender would. I won't completely jump off the ledge, but this has been an extremely disappointing draft.
Looks like patience has run out already. I have no idea what these guys are doing.
A blind monkey shooting darts could. rascal > Brian Wright
rascal was all in on Castle at #4 and didn't give a about #8.
Of course. Ajay Mitc to OKC. , , .
Based on the last two years, the Spurs are definitely not 2nd Round savants.
But look at the bright side, they have Sidy Cissoko and Juan Nunez.
Just read up on Nunez. His analysis says (with no joke) that with work he could one day develop into a Tre Jones type player...
What's the plan? Seriously. All we did after drafting Wemby was gift talent away. It's like they are porpusely trying to make it as difficult as possible for Wemby.
You want to save money? Fire the most expensive, most overrated coach and front office in the entire league, tbh. Win/win.
No shooting, no defense. Brilliant.
They don't want any new players on this team, which is... an idea?
it's simple: Furphy wanted an NBA contract, so the Spurs passed on him and selected Nunez who they can stash to save a roster spot. Is this smart? Probably not, but at least they made some cash![]()
There you go, we just found our Brian Wright replacement. Doesn't do worse and costs a fraction. C'mon Holt, do it.
This is much worse than the trade of the number 8 pick. They just tossed this pick away for a player that most likely will never play.
I’m gonna keep saying it until you ers start paying attention. With multiple SRPs, they’re going to sell the first one, because it is the most salable. Lather, rinse, repeat.
They didn’t even want to draft a player at 8, and you think anyone picked at 35 is a keeper? The second round will be a draft and stash + cash and a 2 way pick for Austin.
Nunez is a really nice pick for the second round.
He should stay in Europe and sign with Barcelona this summer.
Presti running circles around us
Simple really: PATFO is considering that we already have enough developing prospects in the team at this time, and decided not to get more than one player in this below average draft.
The remaining picks are going to be used to get anything they can (assets, cash...).
Maybe they're looking for the number one pick next year. I don't know, maybe they're trying to be worse than this past season. Maybe they're going to ask Collins to play PG all season.
This.
These clowns are just cost cutting on the roster while giving themselves raises every year.
Yeah, I think that's 100$ right. So ing weird, we're not in any cap issues. It's like they're trying to squeeze some player into the space available.
Means they're booting the other pick too.
I'm a big Nunez fan, but I don't like it.
He won't be stashed for 1 year, he'll be stashed forever
He allegedly recently signed a long term deal with Barcelona, at least Vecenie said so on his stream
The rumors were that Spurs wanted 35 to take a 2-way. When they couldn't get anyone to go with the plan, they decided they didn't want any money on the roster. If they had picked an American they could have forced a second round tender and gone to camp and probably force the Spurs to cut them.
This way, Nunez will never sign the tender because he'll never pay his buyout and the Spurs won't help him with it.
He will stay as "rights to Juan Nunez" in a potential future trade the next 15 years. He will never be a Spur.
Lol you posted this y reply at the same time the Indy trade (proving my point) was going down. Keep slurping buddy
