It's pretty apparent to everyone with a brain that this FO has absolutely lost their fastball. I know it comes across as minor because we're talking about 2nd rounders now.

But how they've operated in the draft (sans the absolute no brainer pick in Wemby) is just extremely disturbing.

I don't think it's hyperbole that this coaching staff/FO is bottom 3 in the league. It's ing terrifying tbh.
I just don't understand the logic behind not taking a chance on a SRP.
Even if we guarantee Bassey, we have 12 players on the roster since Graham is obviously not staying.

If PATFO was operating like a competent front office, I'd say we're about to see some big win now moves.
We drafted the only high upside player who's also NBA ready right away and we didn't take anyone else, despite glaring issues on wing positions.
Logically, that means we're done with project players and want to compete with all the assets available for trade.

But as per usual, it's going to be we like what we have and we'll lose our minds watching Collins get on every single game.
I swear if Collins is on the roster on the opening night, I'm ing done.

But I don't think this is entirely true. Sochan was the right pick. I know people here hate him, but he was the right pick and he's going to be a good player. Castle was one hundred percent the right pick this year.

And then... the rest. I don't get it.

I'd argue that Devin was also the right pick since we had both DJ and Derrick.
It was also harder to scout that class due to covid.

Nice pick. Possible elite pick and roll player. Would fit in with castle and wemby if developed. Can stash him for some time as well. Has a decent free throw percentage so not worried about the shot not developing too much. He never has to shoot since he's so good orchestrating the team offense.

I figured Nunez was going to be one of the picks. I like it.

I mean, just trade or sell the pick outright at this point.

This team clearly has different priorities than improving the roster via this draft.
They probably tried just no one wanted to ..lol

Id say for maybe 2058 or maybe 2074. Shoot maybe by then they will have a Time Machine and we can do 2023 first overall again.

Wtf, what pass first point guard would possibly not want to throw lobs at Wemby? Wemby will make his teammates rich. This guy will be there as soon as he can guaranteed.

Was Manu the only one who came over after being stashed? This was cute when we didn't need the help but now it's just pathetic

Hope he becomes a Spur one day. He is fun to watch -- especially his passing. Also, dont get why people are saying he's a bad shooter. His shot is pure, and he's had some pretty solid shooting averages in Europe.

who the are these ST sources that are suggesting Nuñez never suits up as a Spur? that may may be true but this doesn't have the appearance of previous draft and abandon 2nd rounders of years past.

he can't answer this without tipping his hand. first, saying "yes" would mean someone is getting released or traded in order to make room on the roster and second, they have to see whether or not they would make a buyout offer that RM would consider matching or not.

i think if scola was signed, the spurs would have never picked up splitter and i think splitter was a better fit for that 2014 le team.
