Because a team with maybe four players you could consider potentially foundational and twelve players whose certainty in the league is in question is just throwing away its draft picks left and right.

I don't think I've ever seen this before. It's like their roster is complete and they can't spend any more money.

Or the draft is garbage. Like has been said for months

    “Meh draft is garbage”
    “Spurs draft euro stash”

WTF are they doing wasting picks!!??

Legler questioning our draft tells me all I need to know because that guy is normally effusive with his Spurs praise.
Leglar loved the Castle pick. Fine to question the decision at 8, but who gives a about these second round picks? Seriously yall.

he can't answer this without tipping his hand. first, saying "yes" would mean someone is getting released or traded in order to make room on the roster and second, they have to see whether or not they would make a buyout offer that RM would consider matching or not.
pretty sure they only have 12 on the roster right now

Wemby, Vassell, Keldon, Jones, Collins, Sochan, Branham, Wesley, Graham, Champagnie, Bassey, Cissoko

you could then include Castle, Nunes, and Ingram before having to cut/trade anybody... even though we all know Graham is gone, and probably Bassey too

Glad we found a draft and stash. Wouldn't want to take precious opportunities away from Blake Wesley or Sir Jabari Rice.
I actually do hope Blake Wesley turns into something. He had that knee injury first year. Last Year was shaking off rust and learning to play PG. This year we shall see if he is an actual rotation piece on a playoff team hopefully. His ceiling should be higher than Branham.

i thought i had read somewhere that if the spurs draft and stash Nuñez, then they would have room to sign Ingram to a two-way deal. we still have to count Osman and Mamu for the moment, right?

Had nothing to do with 2nd round. And I'm not sure he loved Castle pick other than as a distributor for Wemby. He talked about his poor shooting too. And straight up said I don't know what the Spurs were thinking here regarding that trade. Also that's my point, Legs loves giving the Spurs major props and giving them the benefit of the doubt. And while we are at it weren't you one of the ones pushing back on me when I critiqued PATFO for all the SRPs we've been stockpiling? If so, consider choosing a lane and staying inside said lane

Interesting that he didn't see the Spurs selecting him as a surprise.

That's an interview from last April that covers a lot of things but also where he goes over his being right handed except for Sports.

It has a link to a video showing some of his incredible passing (that we'll never get to see)

that explains the math. what i read was going as of today rather than July 1st. we'll know more at that point but it still explains why wright would be so obtuse about certain questions at the moment.

Someone on Spurs Reddit is claiming a connection to a Spanish journo who swears the Spurs will be bring him this year. That the reports of signing with Barcelona are premature (Vecenie in his Livestream said he had been signed there, Fischer called him a draft and stash candidate)

There is nothing I would love more to be wrong about and take the Loss on after such an anger inducing first round. I loved Nunez as a prospect despite his flaws and think he would be very entertaining to watch, and if he can be convinced to shoot righty could be a legit player.

But I'll have to see it to believe it. Feeling like Hawkeye right now ... "Don't give me hope."

Honestly, if they brought him over after all this bull with trading away better and needed players, it would be ing preposterous.

I've seen similar claims. I guess time will tell.
